I think we've blotted Colleen from our memories to try and ignore THAT Deal!

Good point, KP

It wasn't a well thought deal and it was worth going on, even if the biggie had to go... :|

They always seem to put the characters on Fridays don't they?

Good game that one, the deal was fine in my book (compare with Constance's board, say for a simialr amount), and I think the only way he was going to get more at 2-box was 250k and another red, I wouldn't trust the banker on 250k/blue these days unless he makes a guarantee at 5-box. Actually it was a shame he didn't keep 20k at the end, as I reckon he'd have got the banker's gamble, taken it and won 50k! But good to see a great contestant win a large amount, and he didn't seem too bothered about the 50k in the box.

And at least he didn't take the 20k like a lot of 2008 contestants would have, so at least he took one risk of sorts.

I think everyone's going to wantto be the mummy and daddy now after Geraint and Patricia netting the vast majority of the the week's winnings! :)

Great game, Gerraint was a lively extrovert charector and the luck was with him all the way.

The £31k offer was perfectly pitched and i don't blame him one iota for taking it, i probably would have done the same.

Technically he may have sold his box for less than it was worth but he did get 60% of the value which isn't a bad return on a box of that value. And everyone was happy, Gerraint has a tasty sum to take home and the Banker hasn't lost any money so he won't have a chip on his shoulder come tomorrow's game.

Good on you Gerraint, £31k well earned and deserved.

A great game. Geraint was a brilliant character.

I don't begrudge the deal at all, and the fact that he wasn't too bothered about the £50k being in the box made it feel good.

A great game, great entertainment, great player, great win.
