Now that's one heck of a painful round. The first two reds were affordable - if she'd been able to keep a Lance final five with better blues any sensible offer would have been the game's peak - but now she's in chase-the-money mode and likely to be very grateful those blues are high.

Noel thinks that Lou's bravery will be rewarded now... The Banker calls and says that he needs a moment to think about this offer and hangs up! Noel says the Banker will be looking back through his notes now.

Banker's offer:

£18,000

A reasonable offer at last. I wouldn't want to deal, but I probably would.

And she takes it, but has the £75K come to the table at last after months?

What the??? Theres only one thing thats pathetic and that wasnt the offer! £18,000 i thought was a decent offer and it was a great offer because it did the job and got Lou out of the chair! Thats like the second time you've said an offer was pathetic when actually it was pritty decent (the other being Chelsea!)

Lou played a great game and she was a very lovely lady and very chuffed she dealt at £18,000 and beat the banker!! Well done Lou enjoy every penny of it!! :-D

Just caught the end of the show, good on Lou for beating the banker! There was an argument for going on but good on her for sticking to her guns and getting the best result :smt023

Only caught glimpses of that due to trying to watch the Grand Prix re-run at the same time (Chinese grand prix and Saturday night drinking sessions don't go together sadly!) but I was certain that 75k was going to be hit before 2-box - how wrong I was fortunately!! :D

Luckily I did catch Peter's opera and Constance's advice so it seemed a good show all in all, even the start didn't seem too bad put in context as she can now make a donation to the hospital. Great to see the banker get punished - 3k at 5-box would only have been possible I thought with 4 low blues there - with hundreds guaranteed if the 75k went, it needed to be a bigger drop than from 3k. Even 18k wasn't that great but dealable anyway, and great to see no hypo swap with 18 being her birthday!!

Maybe I should only glimpse at future games as it could bring the players more luck......
