Well, it's a 1 in 16384 chance of 14 blues in a row.
Yes, Mad Mark, this has got to be an epic win!

Great game... outright player win and David's Mum even got the hug from Noel she wanted. :-D

One of the most interesting games there's been, due to the 8-box and 5-box boards and respective offers... and then the BG at the end!

The whole show was good as well. David was a nice bloke who had an interesting story with his music, and knew where to draw the line as far as the game was concerned. This week has now broken the £100k barrier for amount paid out, so not a bad week at all so far and we still have 2 shows left!!

Also nice to hear David's cello recital of the DOND theme tune used during the end credits there... well done to David on the £26,000!

Ah, one of my favourite games today I think. Strange that as I would class myself as a big DOND fan so clearly was David - he mentioned it at the beginning of the show. Also today's date is the 9th October - 9 is my favourite number and he dealt at 26,000 - 26th June is my birthday. These are things I'm sure no one else is interested in but things that sum up for me why I loved this game and will remember it. Well done to David on a great deal and enjoyable game! :D

Another thought - when was the last time box 7 came to the table, and when was the last time that, in coming to the table, it contained a red? Something I've been wondering coz 7 always seems to contain a blue!

Forget the above question - just remembered Julie's game this tuesday - swapping to box 7 with £75,000. There's my answer :smt023

Well 7 was swapped to the table in Julie's game (funnily enough, it was originally held by David), and it held 75k, but the last person to bring it to the table at the start with a red in was Lance when it had the £250,000

Quite rubbish offer(the banker offer) , have u notice with good board the banker say offer 10k then 12.5k and goes up 3-5 k a round even with all blue rounds , if this keep happen wouldnt it be wise to deal at the 1st offer or 2nd offer?

Wow, that was excellent!

Only took one take too! David is a fantastic guy and really deserved to win big, he had to decide for ages about the bankers gamble and seemed so tempted, good job he didn't though! All in all a fun game and one I really enjoyed! xxxxx

Another good game with another good result. It was interesting to see the 'Old Faithful' returning and whilst it may have got David out of the chair it turned out to be the right deal at the right time and so it didn't work in the Banker's favour this time.

I was expecting a Banker's Gamble when I saw the £100,000 & £100 remain and whilst I didn't expect David to accept (well no-one usually does), it does add an extra twist at the end of a game. Though I suspect some players may have accepted it today with the hope that finally a red has appeared on the table.

So that's 13 blues in a row now. Hopefully a red will appear soon if only for Noel to stop mentioning how a red must be on the table today, surely?

At least this week isn't going to be at the bottom of the payout charts with £121,500 being paid out so far. Placing it in position 31 in the chart at the moment with 2 shows still to go.

Great show today, one of the best of this month so far! The cello recital was great, and the board he faced was turning increasingly bipolar, which made for some tricky decisions. £26k was fair if slightly low - I would like to have seen £30-35k offered there, but the banker pitched it correctly, as the gambler took it.

The banker's gamble gave a faint possibility that he might open his box, but in the end he quite rightfully decided that £26k was too much to risk on those final 2, and was not willing to be swayed by the run of blues on the table. In fact, that speech by Noel was a bit weird - almost as if he remembered at the last minute to be neutral (maybe following the pilgrim's murmuring at his persuasion technique). I'm with KP, in that I think the second part of that speech may have turned out to be vital in David's end decision.

Anyway, great result, and strangely I think that was a better show than the £75k win this week. Maybe this has something to do with the contestant, I don't know...

A great game, and amazing cello performance for sure!

I can't believe I'm saying this but I missed the £26,000 offer! :P Glad to see it back! A good win today for a great guy!

Definitely one of my favourite shows ever! A great guy who knew how to play the game and the musical interludes (including Peter!) put the icing and cherry on the top.

I think we're back on the right track again, though some reds at the table would be rather nice! :)

Quite fitting undeal should get offered a year to the day since its introduction too!

Anyway, I liked David, he provided a good contrast to the craziness of Julie and Judy, and was please to see him have to agonize over two decisions (the original 26k offer and the undeal). Both were entirely justifiable either way i feel. The most dealable offer prior to that was the first one. :?

Also interesting to hear Noel preching the "ambition and greed" balance. I doubt he'd have said the same thing if 100k or 250k had been at the table! :)

But a 1 in 2 chance of a blue being on the table tomorrow. Would anyone here risk a large amount of money on a roulette table on red if 13 blacks had been spun beforehand? I know I wouldn't.

Great game today.

I loved this game! David was a great character, a really nice guy who had given solid advice during his time on the wings.

And to see him get an OPW (I assume we can call it that) was even better. Very much deserved.

The games this week have been really good, with two contenders for show of the month (already, i know). More like this please.

[Oh, i missed the cello DOND bit, I had to answer the phone while it was on...]

Game of the week for me. Stuart was a great charector and he played it perfectly.Okay the perfect deal is as much down to luck as judgement bit who cares, because it was a brilliant result.

That game had everything - charisma, entertainment, musical interludes (and they say variety is dead) and a happy ending!

And he has a hot girlfriend who plays the saxophone - lucky B****** :-D
