My fault for praising the lack of timidity of the last two players!

An inexcusable deal with the top two in play and reasonable back up.

Well this is interesting, the three safety nets have gone.

Banker's Gamble? I would...

Noel says there's still a cloud of doubt there as she still has £250k on the board, and he doesn't know where the banker would've gone now

Banker's offer would've been:

£16,500

Board

£10
£500

£1,000
£3,000

£250,000

Offer should go down, I'd offer £13k..

Offer: £16,500
Mean: £50,902.00
Offer (%) 32.42%
Fair Deal: £14,977.75
Offer (% Fair Deal) 110.16%

A reversion to the eleven-box offer makes a lot of sense here. I wouldn't want to Deal here but I likely still would.

Noel says Martyne could still have spanked the banker

Banker says if she keeps £250k in-play the offer would've been £80,000

6 - Julie - £10

"NO NO NO" says Noel

22 - Jas - £3,000

"NO NO one shot left" says Noel

11 - David - £500

Banker time with £1,000 and £250,000 remaining

Oh dear... Should have gone on. Yesterday she had the one above that on the board, £100k.

OK if the Banker would have guaranteed me £80k at two-box I'd have chased that.

And got it. At risk of sounding like the annoying remainder of the forum I'm slightly glad about that. I'm very happy to see well-judged Deals lead to OPWs, but that wasn't one.

Martyne says she'd have said DEAL there. Noel said he believed her when she said she could be the 2nd £250ker. Noel says she'd have got the swap, and she says she'd have said SWAP as 5 is her lucky number and she wrote it on her contestant application form (watch the cries of "FIX!!!" if £250k's in box 5 now :P)

Noel swaps her box 1 for box 5

Martyne has £1,000 in her new box 5.

Her original box 1... now with Claire has £250,000 and that completes the game.

Noel says how gutted Martyne would've been if she'd played on and swapped it away!!

(But didn't she say she'd have dealt at £80k!! :? :ponder: )

80k is a lot higher than we would have seen but I agree with KP - she could do with falling slightly flat on her face after that deal.

She bought it to the table and never wanted it. I just wish she'd sold it at the last moment before the swap was on...
