It was worse than just continuous "C'mon!"'s, which I can tolerate, but his only reply to every bit of bad luck was "It's cool, it's cool, it's cool" :mad No it's not cool Clayton, the clue is on the red and mainly blue board in front of you...

Yeah same here...the "positive thinking" is one of the things that annoys me the most about DOND and the fact that he kept trying to insist everything was OK when he was clearly having one of the worst games ever just made him look like an idiot, I though.

A harsh game, I can understand why there is so much dislike for Clayton here as he could be immensely irritating on the wings.

Personally while i could have done without the constant "Come ons" I do respect him for not being afraid to speak up against the banker. That's a risky thing to do, the banker either ends up respecting you or being thoroughly vindictive when it comes to your game.

Of course the way that game unfolded we never really got to find out how much respect the Banker had for Clayton, he just didn;t get a break

That's probably the best post for this game, to be honest. Yeah, Clayton was annoying, but in truth we never got to see what would have happened in a decent game, although I have to say personally, finding all the positivity too annoying in this context, can you imagine how unbearable he might have been with a 'Richard board'?!! ;)

That's one of the things I especially like about this forum, the way all hte different viewpoints can change the perspective a little.

I think he may have come across better with a "Richard board." The constant "come ons" were annoying, but I think he shouted "come on" constantly to keep everyone's spirits up and to make the game more positive, cos he seemed like that kind of person. If he had a Richard type game, he wouldn't have had to do that so much.
