What a great game. I have to say today has re-astablished my interest in the show. I was starting to get a little bit bored of it, but today has turned me back!

Me too, well I was still not amused by the box opening incident the other day, Gaz has brought me round, lol

Why what happened? :?

One word to describe that game.... "WOW". It seemed doomed from the beginning but that was the best example of blind faith I've ever seen. I feel guilty for screaming "take the 8 grand" at my television set.
Well done Gaz
That money is gonna get you a lot of ice-cream! :P

Must admit the £8,200 was the only offer there that would have tempted me, the £4,100 offer wasn't half bad though. The final offer was too low for my liking, anyone capable of turning down £8,200 at the final five was never going to take £35,000 with those two at the end.

Awesome game, but will it be enough to cause the Banker to start making sensible offers to stop this from happening? Depends on whether Endemol are still desperate to give away the £250,000 or not I guess.

Very good show, I was gripped to my seat. He seemed like a genuine nice family man, and it's always good when people like that win the money. Best show in a while.

Progress graph

Wow, that was a great ending, things were looking very bad for him there for a while!

The banker never gave him a good offer, though, the last offer was just 55% of the average, and all previous offers were poor.

I'm glad he went all the way, even if it was a (very) long shot to win the 100k. :)

I turned off the TV (though left the DVD recording) when Gaz was chosen

Gaz hadn't made any impact on me and though I am a constant lurker, I was beginning to lose interest in the game. But what a brilliant game - I would also have dealt at £8k given the run of (bad) luck and was astonished he no dealt at £35k. What a courageous man- well done Gaz. I am so glad it came out well for you. :)

well what can i say about todays show! it was an excellent show and a really good turnaround for gaz.
well done gaz. :smt038 you seem like a nice guy, enjoy the money
i agree with a few other postings on the forum that the show was getting abit boring! of deal or no deal. the whole massimo show was the final straw. hopefully yesterday and todays show is a turning point.
but what is going on with the banker? why is he so low with all his deals, when gaz had 10k and 100k he only offered 35k it should have been at least 45-50k going by past shows. poor fadil only had low offers too.
come on banker, we're all gonna get bored if you carry on playing stunts like that. you tried getting gaz to play on hoping he had the lesser amount in his box. well that blew up in your face lol.

Going by very early shows, £45,000 wouldn't have been unreasonable. Though the last time we had this come up the offer was a ludicrous £30,000 - and it was dealt, albeit by means of a horseshoe spin. If only he'd used that for a swap offer decision, and it told him to swap...

I agree that offering more would have ensured a Deal, and was probably necessary given the rejection of £8,200 earlier.

Yes! The perfect game! Fantastic viewing. After a start like that it wasn't shaping up to be a good game but that was the best turnaround I've ever seen! Welldone Gaz! I agree with alot of you saying that the show is getting boring, but that game has certainly knocked some sense into me. :-D

I also noticed that the banker didn't offer the swap at the end which was an advantage to Gaz.

OMFG! Just watched that game on More4, what a blumming superb game. Can't see anything beating it for ages in terms of drama, in terms of courage for no dealing at £35,000 and in terms of entertainment. That was brilliant! Might just go upstairs to watch it again on More4+1! Well done Gaz!

Incredible turnaround, after that terrible start I thought he was heading for the 1p club never mind second highest winner ever!

Along with Hilary last week he's taught the Banker a lesson. But I think 90% of players would have dealt at the £8,200.
