Simmo's game today.

Noel talks about the last few games and how the value of £7,500 is becoming his new £26,000 in getting contestants to deal early...

He then goes through the wings to give us some interesting facts on the contestants...

It's Simmo!
I hope he brings one of the big reds he opens so often on the wings to the table.
Come on Simmo! :smt026

Simmo has box 13 today. Simmo/Dave is in accounts for BP... Noel then gives us a story about how Simmo was in a club when a girl was flung at him and he was supposed to catch her but didn't!! He was then later tied to a tree and then spent 2 years trying to trace the girl, who he did and is now with him and in the audience for support today.

Here we go...

But presumably doesn't mention that the two £7,500 Dealers would have won less by playing on. Even if the second one in particular was a shocking Deal in even my opinion.

£7,500 opener coming up?

A great start says Noel, and he asks the banker if he is in his happy place, he replies no he's in his office, his happy place is in Amsterdam :P

The banker talks about how many 1p winners we've had this year so far, and thinks the current group are grasping the moment (think a few here won't think that :P )

The banker has a gift for Simmo as Derek has been hogging the wig, and it's his very own Shawaddywaddy wig :P

Banker offers

£12,500

Oh it's not £7,500. That's a proper opening offer, not quite in early 2007 generosity levels considering the board but not a zillion miles away...

Now that's what I call a start. Top eight in play at the first adbreak.

Will it be maintained? And more to the point, will it be maintained longer than the player's willingness to gamble?

Hopefully both will stop at the same time - that's the way the OPWs come! (And the answer to those questions can be 'never'.)

Simmo tells Noel that the banker needed a little something to make him happy, and that would have cheered him up!

The banker says this is tricky now, and is a little confused who he is playing now Simmo is in his wig...

Banker offers

£13,000
