Mel's game today.

Noel talks about the likelyhood of the 1p coming to the pound table twice in a row, and how it has happened over the past 2 days, and Shaun going away with it yesterday :(

Mel has box 10 today. It is a massive shock for Mel to be playing today, and she is really shaking.... Mel is a self-employed funeral director, and Noel says that is quite a surprise to see someone so young doing this job. Mel tells Noel that she came by the role as when she was younger she went on a computer system and it came up with that role for her, and she went on a work experience for it, and the rest is history...

We get to see a few pics of Mel at work, and of her dog in fancy dress :P

Here we go...

Well the KUDOS career thing (I think that's what it's called... it's what I used anyway) said I should be a farmer when I tried it in Year 11.

Oh and seeing as Mel likes undertaking, I wonder if her surname is Vohmann? I know a Vohmann who likes talking about death and the undertaking industry...

Hmm, I'm watching this because she's local and has box 10, (plus she's quite attractive  )

Oh, and Mark, you're like a broken record. It doesn't matter that she had it yesterday.

I like the way Simon opens his boxes... as if he appears to be sensually rubbing the sides of the lids when he reveals the amount.

She may not have expected to be there yet, but that doesn't necessarily mean she'll Greeny it as it were. The first two rounds might settle the nerves.

Oh, and I think Kudos suggested 'commodity broker' or something like that for me in Year 10. Much of that job wouldn't be bad, a fair bit would be fascinating, but it'd burn me out in a couple of years at most.

A happy start, considering she's an undertaker :)

Good opening round too.

Mel doesn't think that round was too bad... The banker says he is in a lovely mood today, and it's nothing to do with Mel, it's that Shaun is the 13th member of the 1p club. Noel wonders where all the members of the 1p club will live now, and the banker thinks it will be in a care home!!

The banker says that Mel has a dirty laugh

Banker offers

£10,000

Mel says it's a lovely offer, but she will not be the first one to go on the first offer...

What do you mean greeny it? In case you hadn't realised, I'm quickly losing the tag of most cautious player (I would have won 1p yesterday and in Sue's game).

Ah yes, it was Year 10 and not Year 11. Although I hear they are making year 9s and year 8s do it nowadays. Anyway, I think it said "farmer" for me because I said I wouldn't mind working outdoors... haha.

Anyway, I'm not sure what to make of Mel at the moment, she seems quite domineering and not shy - could be a tough job for the banker... or she may deal at the third offer. I really can't read her to be honest. I'd expect it has some guts to go into the job of undertaking as a 25-year-old woman, so she must be quite "gutsy"...

The offers will be above average today. The banker always offers more when it's a pretty girl in the chair...

Noel adjusts Mel's top as her mic is sticking out, and Mel announces that Noel has just touched her bum

Next round

5 - £3,000 Woodsy

4 - £750 Nic

Noel says we are overdue a massive money game, and this could be the one... He then calls a break to check Mel's mic again!!! :P

I know you have, hence the 'as it were'.

Cautious play is still referred to as 'Greenyism' and yes, it's a misnomer now, but I can't think of a rational/catchy opposite. 'KPism' sounds rubbish and I'm not always that cautious anyway, 'H-ism' sounds wrong...
