Have you not seen Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure? They had looooooads more people (personages of historical signifigance to be precise) in their phone booth!

And they still don't have female company! In fact, the only people to have had the 1p and avoided winning it have both been women...I think that says something about the two genders' attitudes to risk-taking.

Still, two women have won £1 and two have won £5. Only two thirds of those leaving with less than £100 have been male so not that significant a difference.

True, and of course the biggest ever winner was a woman, and turned down around £50,000. Perhaps my theory is rubbish.

Watching the game today was really surreal, in that "purple patch" around where Kirsty had her game, I completely took it for granted that game's like this could happen! I mean, I know Clare and James did pretty badly but Dave's game just seemed like there was no choice other than to No Deal...I don't know, it was just awful....I would've been upset if he'd looked like he cared! Seemed like a really genuine guy though and he had a great attitude - at least he gets the novelty cheque!

Oh yeah, what was Dave's "plan" that the other contestants kept mentioning? Did they ever say what that was about?

He should've dealt at £1.50 to avoid the prospect of being flung in the telephone box.

I'd rather have 1p than £1.50 ---- the only upside of the £1.50 would have been the pint that Geordie would have bought me for taking his 'lowest ever deal' title away !!!

I bet he could sell a fake copy of the cheque on ebay for more than what he won!

Its even worse on the Aussie version when you win nothing

You get this giant cheque with NOTHING printed in big letters. Theres a video of this guy Johnny Bearmout-Buchanon win nothing on Youtube.

Its happened before, most notably when box 11 had £250,000 in Beryl's game and then of course Anna's game when she had it at the table and it contained the jackpot.
