Barnaby calls Jenny over to the greenhouse and says that he thinks he's found a body. She screams and he tries to calm her down by saying it might not be her husband Derek and could be her gardener John, then Jenny starts crying even more as she was having an affair with her gardener behind her husband's back... oh, wrong channel. :P Thought DOND had taken a murderous tone... :ponder:

Ah... Noel welcomes us to the dream factory and says we're settling down after all the orange, gold and black boxes... and now we're back to the normal red boxes :D

Michael's game today.

Welcome back to the red boxes!!

Noel says it's lovely to see everyone back normally without wearing costumes... he says Ashleigh is beautiful. He asks when Ajay is going to take his costume off

Michael has box 2 today.

He is from Kidderminster and he was in the motor industry for many years doing windscreen repairs. But before that, he was a machinist for British Leyland. BL made him redundant, which is why he downsized company.

His wife is in the audience, and they met at a dance - a dance which they were forced to go to by their friends  He says he looked at her from the legs and worked upwards and it got better and better!! Although he didn't tell her that until they got married

He has a bear called Kay with him, and he shows pictures of his children.

Apparently he has a good sense of humour... he would play tricks such as heating a coin in a furnace and putting it on the floor for an unsuspecting victim

Michael doesn't know what the banker will make of him, but he says he is a gambler and bets on the horses, although his wife doesn't like him gambling and she tells him he should cut down  Noel says how Michael has his wife's eyes boring in the back of his neck!!

Here we go...

Michael asks who has the 1p...

4 - Simon - he says he's puckering up - Noel says it's an awful thought!! - £75,000 :?

Noel says that's a contrast to the 1p and Simon apologises :(

5 - Artak - slow box opening - 1p :D

Michael goes over to Artak and................... shakes his hand

15 - Shaz - Noel asks for a smile from her - £750 :D

Michael cheers and the audience whistle and applaud... Noel says it's all very presidential :ponder:

16 - Steff - Michael asks for the 10p - £10,000

Mixed reactions to that

22 - Tony - he talks about his track record, and Michael changes to...

8 - Sarah - £15,000

More hisses from the audience and Noel says we have a little nest of vipers here, Michael says it could've been worse and Noel agrees...

Time for the banker...

Anne is back today after having painkillers for her foot

The banker only has two words for Michael in his file - normally it's "guaranteed loser" but for Michael it's "perfect gentleman".

The banker sense he likes Michael's sense of humour and the story about the coin. The banker says he'll give Michael 10p...

Banker's offer

£3,939

6 - James - fast box opening - £5

18 - Col - £1,000

They say that's alright and Noel points out how he's taken the top off the board.

He asks Michael if he has ever made a windscreen BREAK when he's put it in :-D Noel calls a break and says we should come back to see if Michael shatters his own game! :-D

Noel says to the banker how one box can change everything... the banker is hoping the 10p, 50p and £1 remain as the banker will MAKE money and Noel asks how :? The banker says he has disguised himself as Keith the sound man and he told Michael that he had loud noisy change in his pocket and the banker got £2.94 from Michael!! Michael says he's going to have £100k from the banker :-D

Banker's offer

£6,000

The banker says he would have offered £1,000, but Michael's fighting talk impressed him, so he upped the offer.

Michael waffles on about the 1812 Overture and the cannons at the end of it and how he wanted that to happen when he won £250k

Noel asks the banker if he has the number for RELATE as we'll need some counselling down here in a minute...

The banker says it's just as well Michael didn't mention his wife's age at the start... the banker can't find his wife's age, so he's going to guess at it and incorporate it in the offer!!

Banker's offer

£9,191

Noel runs away and Michael calls him a chicken

Noel says despite the joke - let's be serious - that's a good offer.

He says logic says he could pull off two all-blue rounds...

Noel says it's unusual to have so many blues at this stage, but he reminds Michael that he does still have 3 of the power 5 left and says how it could be one of the great turnaround games...

Noel says let's convert it into the round you need.

10 - Mario - £35,000  :(

"Oh crumbs" says Noel, "This really will take something for a U-turn!!" :? :(

12 - Denis - £50,000

Silence... Noel says "Wow wow" and he says he cannot remember approaching 8-box where we only have one red, the £100k... he's taken out 7 reds in a row and Noel says come back after the break and see if he can generate a new record, by taking out 8 reds in a row.
