So does that put Chris above all the other £75k winners, cos he got the extra £1k, or is that not being included in the full winnings?

Serves the banker right for sticking twice at £15k.

PS - dond_rules, I had no idea at 5-box that we would be left with those 2 boxes at the end. It got to that point, and I just had a feeling that we'd get 'TRICK', and the banker would look in the player's box, resulting in a PJ-style scenario at the end. But we didn't get 'TRICK' - so it was all a coincidence!

You are reading far too much into that.

Don't tell me the ending, cos I've only just starting watching it on Sky+. Why did they have to ruin Chris's hair!

He looked cute even as a vampire though. Loved the Jean montage!

Bad start, I hope he does OK.

EDIT: Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how nice!

I thought it was very unfair that the banker stuck at £15,000 but I suppose it was a good thing as it made him go on to win £75,000! Good game, brilliant payout. :)

That was, with no exception, THE greatest episode of the WHOLE of Season 3 so far!!!!!!!!!!!

It wasn't spoiled three months earlier, none of the contestants gave anything away, I didn't spoil it myself by accidentally looking at the clock, that, seriously, beats EVERYTHING and it's not only my October Show of the Month but my Show of the Season!!

The entire first part I couldn't stop myself from laughing. The absolutely insane costumes which were demented in a brilliant way (I totally cracked up when I saw Mario's!), that brilliant Jean home movie which even had re-appearances from contestants past (Siobhan, Irene, Lee, and more!), but this was at odds to the game where he just couldn't stop taking out big reds, and it was looking like a trainwreck as Spiky Sandra's was this time a year ago.

But not only was it not, but he kept that £75k right through the end despite taking out everything else, we had a FANTASTIC re-appearance from Jean, a terrifying final round (that offer-after-every-box really increases the tension!), and then, when his box was opened at the end...I'm ashamed to admit this but I started jumping around the room!!! The £75k's first appearance since PJ's game (scarily with the exact same final two!) returning in a MASSIVE way!

Really, really, really, REALLY REALLY REALLY (times three hundred billion) well done, Chris...and now I'm off to turn on Channel 4+1 and watch the entire thing again! IT ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Billy here, one of, if not the best show of the season so far! It was one of the very rare funny and money shows.

They had all the Halloween stuff down too a tee, the costumes, make up and special effects were excellent and it was all done brilliantly. After the two big ones went it looked pretty bleak but what a turnaround! The Joan montage was hilarious (an ilovedealornodeal video snippet maybe? :P ) and then seeing her back was great. Looking at the trick or treat boxes do they actually bother to change them or can they change them?

The last few £15k offers were on the stingy side and the last one in particular was just mean, still he had the guts and won big! Also just scrapping a big win into October...

Great game!
