I would've accepted £13,000+ here, so that's me gone!

Second power five winner in a row denied :(

There's no way she's brave enough for 23.

I'd have expected an offer of £12,000 here, so I'd be gone too.

Nice recovery, even if the 50 large is in her box.

A good game. She had bad luck. She was incredibly brave at 5 box. And very unlucky having 50k in her box. She won a nice amount of money. So well done Sheryl. For having a good game

Ironically enough, Sheryl probably would've been worse off if she had the offer button, as she probably would've taken a four figure extra offer in Round 6. I'm glad the Banker paid for making poor offers for a change, and even though she missed on £50,000, Sheryl seems happy enough with what she did win. :smt023

The only bad news about today's game is that it officially made September the first month this year NOT to have a Power 5 win. In fact, the top win this month was just £18,000. :(

That was a game where expectations were deflated from start to very nearly finish - not least by the poor offers. Banker got himself out of the hole just in time, but that could easily have been one of the Banker's cheapest purchases of a Power 5, and instead it's a perfectly creditable five-figure win.

Unfortunate result from a reasonable deal. Hopefully he won't have too many regrets. :smt023

I don't think the Banker will regret lowballing the 5 box offer too much, especially as he still saved himself £37,000. ;) :P As far Sheryl is concerned, however, she may still have quite a few regrets. :smt009 ;)

Think this offer button could be a good gimmick to add to the show as it could persuade a cautious player to think of going on an extra round. As I havent seen last couple of shows could someone explain if banker has to give a monetary offer or could he throw a box swap offer in when the offer button is activated.

Given the Banker never made SWAP offers in situations with guaranteed extra offers in the past (though he has made a few JOKE offers), I'm pretty sure the offer has to be genuine. Besides, the last time the Banker made a SWAP offer in lieu of a serious financial offer (i.e. NOT the 1st or 2nd offer) was in Mev's game all the way back in November 2012.

Not a bad game today, Kudos to Sheryl for playing on at 5-box :) Pity about the £50k in her box though

At least it wasn't anywhere NEAR as bad the last time September 30 fell on a Tuesday cough..Meena..cough ;-)

But September 2014 really was a disappointing month with no one winning more than £18,000 and not many games of interest, i was really hoping that the run of great games in August would continue into September and break the September curse, but sadly not :(

Oh well, now we're in October and hopefully things will start to pick up again soon! :smt023
