And here's how it went!
This is a very special two hour Thanksgiving edition of "Deal or No Deal"! Loads of amazing surprises and twists are in this episode!
Things get started with Howie Mandel bringing with him a very special guest: A real live turkey on a leash, dubbed "Bartholomew Fenwick Stevenson III"! The turkey goes away after a while, but will be mentioned later!
When Howie calls on the models to come on down, they carry, not cases, but pumpkin pies to give to various members of the audience!
Plus, throughout the show, the models and Howie tell viewers at home what they are thankful for this year!
If that's not all, someone playing the Lucky Case Game will be very thankful to DoND for giving them $100,000 cash!
Now the show will try to give away some big cash to the contestants at the studio! Lets get it started with the carryover player...

Joe felt his luck was turning for the worse and decides not to risk losing any more money. $59,000 is still a very nice sum of money and he's thankful for the opportunity to play!
However, he still has to finish the game and see if he did indeed pull out at the right time. It's the Proveout!

THROWS IT INTO IN THE BANKER'S FACE!!!!
Now, will The Banker suffer even more embarrassment by being beaten at his own game? Becky will try with the Proveout!

Banker's offer:
$41,000!

Becky started the game with bad luck, will it end the same? Howie opens Case 17 and shows that Becky sold a case that had...

Before the next game gets started, we have one more previous contestant update! This time it's Tami Fuller from Season Two! As you might recall, Tami was a huge fan of the American Football team New York Jets and was, at one point, offered an incredible Jets Dream Package which she turned down! She ended up selling off the $1,000,000 case!
We are shown Tami as she receives a phone call from Howie Mandel! After some talking, Howie puts someone else on the line: New York Jets very own Curtis Martin (who plays the position of "Running Back")! Curtis watched Tami's game and decided Tami should get the dream package she turned down! Tami, as you can expect, is overjoyed! Howie just had to cut into the conversation asking weather Tami wanted to "Deal or No Deal" Curtis Martin's offer! Tami, of course, said...
DEAL!

Back to the game going on right now! We have a new player ready to take on the now-cleaned up Banker on this very special night!
Contestant:
Tera Walker!
Chosen case:
3!
Howie has two special twists for Tera's game!
First, he has the $10 on the board changed into "PUMPKIN PIE"! Just like the "TURKEY" in Becky's game, if Tera plays to the end and has the Pumpkin Pie in her case, that's just what she'll win!
Second, a more serious one. The Banker has a challenge for Tera! If Tera can avoid the $1,000,000 in the first two rounds, she will win whatever is inside a special green colored case! It's contents are unknown.
Will Tera be able to win this challenge and find out what is inside the mysterious case? We shall find out with:
Round One: Six Cases:
10: $300,000
25: $100
15: $1,000,000!!!
OH NO!!! Tera has failed The Banker's challenge and the green case has to be taken away. We are never shown what was inside it.
16: $750,000!!
14: $500,000!
21: $100,000
Yet another awful opening round! Even worse than Becky's opening round! Of course, The Banker is pleased.
Banker's offer:
$5,000!
NO DEAL!
Round Two: Five Cases:
1: $400,000
19: $75
9: $750
6: $10,000
20: $75,000
Banker's offer:
$9,000!
NO DEAL!
Again, the contestant is left with just one six-figure on the board. This time it's $200,000. Can Tera hold on to it? You'll find out with...
Round Three: Four Cases:
2: $5!
17: $1!!
22: $1,000
24: PUMPKIN PIE!
Banker's offer:
$15,000!
NO DEAL!
Round Four: Three Cases:
11: $5,000
8: $400
23: .01¢!!!
Banker's offer:
$24,000!
NO DEAL!
Round Five: Two Cases:
4: $25,000
12: $25
The Final Six:
- $50
- $200
- $300
- $500
- $50,000
- $200,000
Before the offer, The Banker phones Howie to share with him the three people his is most thankful for this Thanksgiving!
All three are former DoND contestants and it'll get quite clear why The Banker is thankful for them very quickly!
Dana Belle who won $50! (
http://www.dond.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1723 )
Brett Kurtz who won $8! (
http://www.dond.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=560 and
http://www.dond.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=607)
And finaly, The Banker's "favorite contestant of them all"!:
Cheryl Jackson who is DoND USAs smallest winner ever with just $5! (
http://www.dond.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=211 and
http://www.dond.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=227)
Oh, The Banker wants be thankful for one more thing: The turkey Bartholomew Fenwick Stevenson III for being a "Delicious Snack"!
Howie is dumbfounded! The poor host responds with, "Hey, he was my friend!"
Okay, back to the game!
Round Six: One Case:
5: $50
Banker's offer:
$46,000!
DEAL!
Again, Tera ran into horrible luck but has taken an $46,000 payoff! That is nothing to sneer at!
Now we will prove just how good a deal it was with the Proveout! (Perhaps The Banker getting beaten will be just the perfect revenge for him eating Howie's turkey friend!
)
Proveout: Case One:
7: $300
Banker's offer:
$61,000!
Dealt at:
$46,000!
Proveout: Case Two:
26: $50,000
Banker's offer:
$72,000!
Dealt at:
$46,000!
Proveout: Case Three:
18: $200,000
Okay, now we've proven Tera never had the six-figure in her case! There was either $200 or $500 in her case.
Case 3 had only...
3: $500
To prove it:
13: $200
Peak offer: $72,000
Case value: $500
Prize won: $46,000
Result: Technical Player Win (63-37)
And just before the show is over, Howie has another gift for the studio audience to go along with the frozen turkey they all got earlier! The CD-ROM version of the DoND home game!
While nobody really got into the mega money, it was still an incredible episode of Deal or No Deal! An fantastic way to end Thanksgiving after all the turkey!
I would like to say that I am thankful to everyone for reading this recap!
And there you have it!
