This episode was probably the best episode of US Deal or No Deal that I have ever seen. The contestant, Mary-Beth, was annoying at times but I was always on the edge of my seat. Here is the latter part of the game:
$25
$1,000
$5,000
$500,000
$1,000,000
Offer:
$175,000
NO DEAL!
She knocks out $1,000!
Offer:
$263,000
NO DEAL!
she knocks out $5,000!
Offer:
$404,000
After a long think, she says
NO DEAL
She knocks out $500,000 next, so she now has:
$25
$1,000,000
Offer:
$341,000
IMO, that offer is disgusting, and should have been $150k more. In proveout, the banker always offers AMO at 3-box and 2-box. You can tell she is a gambler, because she wants to go on. She was saying "I know I have the MILLION," and kept repeating it.
Her fiance kept pushing her down, telling her she wouldn't be miserable with $341,000. Will she listen to her fiance or herself?
"My fiance is the most important thing in my life."
DEAL!
In her case of 13:
[b]$1,000,000!!!!!!!
Mary-Beth is devastated and is crying. I find it ironic that during the MDM only 2 people had the million, but in the last 4 shows, 3 people have had it.
