Yeah, you're probably right, J.R. I knew I was going to get letters about this, and I was right. Don't worry, if there's one thing that I've learned from you, the master US recapper, it's to keep opinions to a minimum. I clearly didn't do that here. I'll do tonight's recap as well, except it'll be opinion-free this time. Everything I learned about recapping I learned from you, J.R., but sometimes I like to put my own twist on things. Looks like it didn't work very well. I'll try to make up for last night's recap with a bare-bones one tonight. No extra schmaltz, and no opinions. Just a straight-to-the-point recap.

The initial post has been edited for content. I looked back and even I couldn't believe what I wrote. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience, and I assure you that nothing of the kind will ever happen again.

As long as you've learned your lesson, we're cool! :D

For that, I'll remove my post above.

Cheers!

Great. Thanks a lot, J.R. Because of you, I'm learning how to become a better recapper. I am a journalist by trade, and I should have used the journalistic approach (i.e. not being opinionated and not taking a side, etc.) in my initial post. Since you're a mod of some sort, can you remove my post that followed yours for continuity purposes? I don't want people to get confused.

And that was probably as close as we will ever get to a six figure case open win. Has anyone done it on a positive outcome? (ie $50 vs $500,000 and won $500,000)

There was one that I can think of. Peter shine was down to $75,000 and $100,000 as his final two. He rejected the final offer, opened his own case (no. 9), and inside was the $100,000.
