I think Cyril sets the new record for the longest televised wing run (excluding Lewis and Buk who had to leave mid-way through their run and return months later). He debuted on July 8th and thanks to the Double Trouble specials and the extended summer break he will still be on the wings over 4 months later.

The only other player to be on the wings in 4 different months without taking any leave was Mark A from Summer 2006 who joined on June 30, survived July and the summer break, and played on September 1

Does feel very odd being in November and having a current player who's been on the wings since July!!

Can you imagine how long 50-shows Lucy would've been on TV for if she was on in 2015, with no weekend shows, frequent breaks because of the damn horse-racing, an extended summer break and double trouble specials?? If Lucy had joined in June/July this year and did 50 shows, we probably wouldn't be seeing her play until 2016!
