...I have made home game versions of DOND!!!

I made a version of the UK and the US versions using sheets of card. I made cards, then wrote the values inside them in pen. I then sealed them randomly using discarded sheets of video stickers, then wrote random numbers on them [1-22 for the UK one, 1-26 for the US one].

I played the UK one with a friend last weekend, and he went right to the end. He had 50p and £50 left, and I [as the Banker] offered him £20. He dealed, and in his 'box' was the 50p!

I have yet to play the US one, so it should be a laugh!

I'll see if I can take photos and upload them.

Nah, I wouldn't worry about it, your not the only one that is addicted. Nearly every member of this forum has done home games with paper at least once. :-D

here's an idea... instead of writing numbers on them use post-it notes so you can randomise the game over and over again.

Pictures!

UK game:

US game:

Pretty basic, I know, but a LOT of fun!
When I remake the games, I WILL put the numbers on post-its, to make it easier to randomise the numbers instead of writing them on in pencil, and erasing the numbers to make a new game.

For re-useable seals, I folded a little of the 'seal' back on itself to make a little tag to hold onto. After the game's over, they can be easily re-stuck on.

Who knows? Maybe I'll make the Australian one next! :D

No, I just had the amounts written down on a separate piece of paper, and scribbled them out when they were eliminated.

Absolutely! Teachers enjoy the time off too, no lesson-planning, no marking, no stupidly early mornings! :)

I used Publisher, I can stick the file onto Adobe Acrobat and upload it somewhere if you want! ;)

EDIT: What's the best place to upload the file to? It's not a big file (only 87.9 kb)
