Hi Everyone

I was wandering if you guys could help me out. As some of you know, I have decided to apply for dond. however, two things have got in my way again:
1) it says on the channel4 website, that they are not looking for contestants anymore so i dont want to send my form of only for them to say we dont need anyone.
2) someone said the next round of audtions are in six months time!!!!!!!!! does anyone know how often they hold auditions?

any help would be brilliant

Prior to now they had aparently been holding auditions every (or every other??) 'dark week' but I hear from someone else who has had an email from the production staff (yes very very second hand so it may not be true) that they are not taking applications at the moment and there are no more auditions scheduled for at least six months.

But remember - not everything you read on the internet is true !! and thats where this info came from so I can't guarantee its validity ! Your best bet may be to email them yourself and ask them your questions.

Just a tip if you do - keep it short and simple as they probably get loads every day.

thanks neefs. I just have this really strong feeling that I need to have a go at DOND or I will regret it and its not very often I have those strong feelings about anything!, is the email address the same one as the one we emailed to get the application form?

I agree - you don't know if you don't try !!

I can't help you with the email address I'm afraid, you can but try but then if you don't get to audition this year there will be other times. I can see this show running and running so I wouldn't worry too much.
