To celebrate the show's 1st birthday, here's a fun/interesting/boring/pointless (circle as appropriate) thing I've done in that I've split up all episodes of DOND into thirteen eras, each named after the contestant who was in all of that era's games. EVERY single game, all 353 and counting of them, fits into one of these eras. Some even fit into both, as they overlap a little.

So, era 1 is...
The Raj Era: 31st October - 29th November 2005
The early days of DOND. Raj was the longest running member of the original 22, playing in the penultimate show of November. This era starts off quite odd, as Noel, contestants and audience are still finding their feet, but by the end things have slotted into place and the show's a ratings winner on C4. It saw what would remain the show's biggest ever winner for a long time in the form of Jennifer's £120,000, but also two potential quarter millionaires with Natalie and Mally. Shell achieved the first ever all-blue round, though Noel would forget about this until, ridiculously, June, and Madie took a shock gamble by turning down £28,000, only to win £4,800. No real trainwrecks for the most part, with everyone winning £1,000 or more...except Raj himself, right at the end, who won a then-record low amount of 10p. Andy K's revenge game was broadcast the day after, which leads us into...

The Irene Era: 30th November 2005 - 2nd January 2006
Irene joined in Raj's game, lasted the whole of December, and played in the first show of the new year...only to win a dismal £5, the lowest win since Raj. This era's quite an interesting one, as most of the shows are only just being repeated for the first time, on More4 on Sundays. No potential quarter millionaires, but Sara had a hypothetical £100,000 v £250,000 decision, and what would have been an incredible £175,000 offer from The Banker. The 10th to 30th December saw the show do themed shows for the first time, when the Christmas decorations were put up, and Lee won this era's biggest win of £50,000 on the 22nd December (also Noel's birthday). Ratings also continued to go up as the show broke the 4 million mark for the first time at the end of the year. After Irene had said her goodbyes, we progressed into...

The Mumtaz Era: 3rd January - 31st January 2006
I would have made this The Geordie Era, but he didn't join until the 6th, so Nick, Jenni and Dave wouldn't have had an era. Mumtaz joined on the show before Irene and stayed there until the end of January...and what a show her era started with! Nick became the programme's first 1p winner, and many more were to come. This was also the era where Dave showed us his brilliant pick-the-boxes-in-order-except-the-one-with-the-£250k-in-it strategy, but had the show been a ratings flop, it'd have ended midway through this era with Gill's game. But instead 230 more episodes were ordered, and in the second show of Series 2, Julie pulled off an incredible victory with £33,000, and had the 1p in her box all along! Jessica won the era's biggest win of £41,000, and Marie's game was also incredible, with an amazing board until it all fell apart in part 3. She went home with just £4,000, while Mumtaz herself won a neat £24,000. The next era would be a very long one...

The Lucy Era: 1st February - 30th March 2006
Everyone remembers Lucy, and her run of 50 shows means that era 4 is a massive one, spanning two entire months. Her first show was also Geordie's last, who had one of the most painful games ever, but still managed to avoid an OBW by selling a 10p box for £20....controversy occured when he told The Sun about how shockingly Endemol had treated him, though. And the day after came Vanessa's game, who like Geordie had horrible Banker offers throughout, but pulled off an unbelievable £20,000 victory. Brenda had an amazing game, with a board even more incredible than Marie, but unlike her the luck didn't run out - she dealt at £57,000, then the second biggest DOND win ever. Daz was the first since Mally to have the £250k in his box, Helen took part in a Valentines Day themed show, John G and Fin both took incredible gambles but sadly they didn't work out, Okiem's game was comparable to Vanessa in that he started off bad but had an amazing turnaround and won £17k, and on the 100th show, Anna became the fourth person to have that danged £250k in her box...and that's only February!!

March is the month that many people call the peak of DOND, and the ratings certainly were, with 4 million regularly tuning in every episode. But it started off horribly, with Trevor becoming the second 1p winner in perhaps the most painful show ever. The next show wasn't much improvement, with a £1 win, and controversy was further afoot with the 'Sequencegate' scandal, when it was discovered that all games since the middle of January had the boxes in the same few sequences every time. Luckily, initial worry that The Banker knew what was in the boxes proved to be false, and it turned out that the sequences were a harmless accident that had since been solved. The show soon made up for it all on Saturday, when the show moved to primetime and Sam won a fantastic £41,000 in an amazing game. And it just got better - Germaine won the second biggest win ever with £75k, the era's biggest win (though also had the £250k in his box), an incredible record 4.66 million watched Marcus turn his game into a chatshow, Saj had horrible luck at first before an unbelieveable turnaround won her £50k, James took part in a special St Patrick's Day edition, Matt's game went from fantastic, to horrible, to fantastic again and gave him £35k, Marilyn and JT scarred millions of kids for life with their Duck Dance, Nancy's game was a special Mother's Day edition where she was allowed to choose which other player would go with her to a trip to a luxury spa (she chose Lucy!), Bob was YET ANOTHER contestant to have the £250k in his box, Aaron achieved the highest first and second offers ever, and won £25,000, and the following day, after a massive half-century of shows, Lucy finally had her game, watched over by John G and Fin who returned for the event...and, pathetically, won £5. But she's still remembered to this day as being there throughout what some call the greatest era of Deal or No Deal ever. However, the fun wasn't over yet...

The Pat M Era: 31st March - 3rd May 2006
Pat M had arrived! Making her first appearance in Bob's almost-£250k game, she was there right through April and into May. Lucy may have gone, but ratings were still brilliant...and so were the shows. Kirsty had the perfect Final Three of £75,000, £100,000 and £250,000, gambled to the end to try and win the quarter-million, and although she only won £75,000, she tied with Germaine as the then-second biggest winner ever. Helen won £22,000, and had the £1,000 in her box, the first time it had been on the table since Dilys's game way back in early November! And JT's game was a revenge game for Lucy, and he provided us with a hilarious game that was also a good one, with a great £39,000 win...and had all the contestants do the Hokey Kokey at the end! Pat G sung her way to a £16,500 win, Fadil took a shock gamble at 1p v £35k and became the third 1p winner, the contestants did the bizarre 'Easter Chick Dance' in Gabrielle's game, who won £1,000 - though the Banker doubled her winnings to £2,000 after she said she was giving it to charity, Gary became the first person to 'beat the Banker twice', with wanting £15,000 but pretending he wanted £30,000 (meaning he took a deal of £29,999), Michael had a horrible run of reds at the start but recovered to win £10,000, Dave E joined Nick, Trevor and Fadil in the 1p phonebox on the 150th show, and there was further controversy with 'Boxgate' in Massimo's game, when Tom accidentally knocked his box open to reveal the amount inside, causing all the boxes to be reshuffled with different amounts. On the 2nd May Gaz had horrible early luck, taking out all the high reds except £100,000...but, unbelievably, he went on to the end and won just that, still one of the biggest wins ever, and the biggest of the Pat M Era! The woman herself played just the next day, and although she only won £1,000, she'd given us a great run of shows. And on we went to...

The Buzz Era: 4th May - 1st June 2006
The Frank Sinatra fan who regularly had blues in his box joined the day after Pat M's game, and lasted into the beginning of June. And like several other contestants provided a memorable rhyme in Morris the Poet's game, an amazing one where he became the first since Kirsty (and the last that year) to gamble and try and win the £250k, but only won £20,000. Although there were no 1p winners during this era, it wasn't one of massive wins either - Tom, who famously ruined Massimo's game in April, had the biggest win of £33,000. Two long-runners played their game during this time, the first being Sarah, winning £6,000, and the second being Bollywood fan Raj - who scared his fans when he briefly fell ill and a new contestant took his place, but luckily he recovered, played his game...and after having some of the worst luck ever, won £1. The day after saw the massively-OTT Eurovision Song Contest special, with all the contestants wearing ridiculous costumes - though it didn't bring much luck for Emma B, though her £5,000 was still an OPW. This era was the last until Alisdair's to get over 4 million, with 4.25 million (second biggest DOND audience ever) seeing Jason's trainwreck, his £300 Deal being the second lowest ever - and unlike Geordie even that wasn't the right move, as had he opened his box he'd have won £750. Patricia became another player who had £250k in their box, Simone took a huge £1 v £75,000 gamble after a pathetic £15.5k offer...and won £1, and Buzz played on the first show of June, only to have the worst opening round EVER, and a dismal £514 opening offer. But he recovered well and won £9,800, and as June began, so did...

The Wayne (the Brain) Era: 2nd June - 21st June 2006
The timespan of this era is deceptively short, as this was the era of Double Deal Week, where two shows a day were broadcast, one at daytime and one at primetime, the latter featuring a contestant from the 'Hall of Fame' in the audience. Wayne the Brain had joined on the show before Buzz's game, and managed to survive the entire Double Deal Week, finally playing near the end of the month. But there were several treats before the Double Deal Week, such as Stevie's game kicking off this era, who had been the anti-Buzz during The Buzz Era - he always had blues, she always had reds! She won a disappointing £1,300, but had yet another red - the £3,000 - in her box. James got the first ever OPW from dealing at the third offer, and Suzanne's game saw a very interesting twist from The Banker after the first round..."No cash offer, would you like to swap?". He's offered the first offer swap numerous times since, but Suzanne was the only one to take it until December, and considering she won £47,000, it seems like it was a good move to do so, the era's biggest win. Peter's game was an excellent feel-good game, as he dealt at £25,000 with the £250k still in play...and had an absolutely perfect proveout, taking out the three biggest amounts in turn, and only having the lowest amount left - £1 - in his box! Unfortunately, a 10p win came a day later, when Joan became the first (and most recent as of this writing) since the original Raj to win it, although as there were no 1p winners during this era, this was the lowest win.

And then, Double Deal Week! Unfortunately, the week was peppered with disasterous games, with THREE £10 winners and one £5 win. The week began with Richard, who had he not taken £6,100, would have won £75,000 in a turnaround of Gaz proportions (who was in the the audience at the time, as part of the Hall of Fame!). That said, there were some good results, the biggest being Jo's £31,000, though even this was cruelly denied from being an OPW at the last minute with there being £35,000 in her box. Louise won £30k but could have won £50k, while on the 200th show, Ron won £20,000 in an OPW from absolutely nowhere. Some minor controversy, though, when Joseph, who joined on the 5th June and quickly became a character, suddenly disappeared on the 16th. It turned out he'd fell ill with bronchopneumonia, and while he would return, it wouldn't be for many months. On the 17th, Debbie dealt at £15,000 on a terrible board with four low blues and the £250k...incredibly, had she gone on, she'd have had a 1p v £250k decision, and even more incredibly, the £250k was in her box. ASTOUNDINGLY incredibly, we didn't see the £250k on the table again until DECEMBER! The final show of Double Deal Week was a special Father's Day edition, and the following day, the box labels were raised from the lids to give a 3D effect. Wayne, who appeared to come out of nowhere during DD week and became a real character, played on the 21st and after a bad opening round had an extremely low first offer of £9.99. All offers throughout the game ended in 999, and eventually, he took a deal of £999. Turned out to be a good move, though, as his game would have got even worse, and a final offer of £99. So it's bye to the Wayne era, hello to...

The Connell Era: 22nd June - 17th July 2006
Connell had actually been around since the last show of DD week, but his era really began once Wayne went. Ratings were slipping during this period, but to be fair, that was the case for every other show on TV due to the scorching hot weather. And still many memorable games...The first show of this era saw Shirley have an amazing final five and an offer of £55,000...however, she went on, had a bad round, dealt at £20,000, but could have won £50,000 had she opened her box. Pennie luckily didn't win the penny, and in fact won three million of them - £30,000, Ryan's game was a Wimbledon special, the last special for a while, Melanie joined James in the OPW-from-dealing-at-third-offer club, Ashok wanted to win the 1p, but sadly (?!) didn't, and won £250, Amy ended her show by playing her leg like a guitar, Mad Paul had a mad first round (1p, £1,000, 10p, £3,000, 50p!), and had all the contestants crouching under the benches when Noel asked everyone to stand up if they think he should No Deal £32,000 (he dealt, and £1 was in his box), Vic was a very youthful looking 82 year old who managed to get everyone dancing and chanting "I'm alive and well, I feel great!", and after some early bad luck, a sniff from Noel's Lucky Teabag brought him the luck he needed and won £19,000. Sue's game saw the debut appearance of Neil the Bug, but then, after none since April, Sally became the first female member of the 1p club, swiftly followed by Buddy taking some incredible gambles...and, even more astonishingly, them actually paying off, as he won £50,000, the era's biggest win. And Connell ended his era by, shockingly, also winning 1p - just two shows after Sally. Would that be the last 1p win in a while? Not a chance...

The Khanny Era: 18th July - 20th September 2006
Although Bob Carolgees-lookalike Khanny did indeed span three months, only four DOND episodes were broadcast in August, as the show went on a Summer break from 22nd July to 28th August. His era did not get off to a good start at all, though- the final week before the Summer break was a disaster, with Debbie winning £250, John having an absolutely terrible game and winning £100, then two reasonable five figure wins (£25,000 and £14,014) from Chris and Naqiyah, and then, shockingly, YET ANOTHER 1p winner in the form of Italian hat-wearer Giorgio. And then there was no DOND for a month (except if you had More4, who repeated all of The Raj Era and the beginning of the Irene era) before it returned...but what a return! Lindsay only won £500, but not before Noel wore his Lucky Hat and took her out the studio and into Bristol, Nick won £45,000 on a board almost as good as Brenda's, and a subsequent OPW, Lance became this era's biggest winner and the third biggest ever when he won £87,000, but the very next day, Sharron became the millionth (well, eighth) person to win 1p. Luckily, there's been no 1p winners since. Steph took a great gamble on a risky board to win £25,000, Ottis recovered from a disasterous start to win £7,000, Paul dealt at £9,000, but would have had a final offer of £84,000 - but only had the £100 in his box (the £250,000 was in Michaela's, who had it for an incredible four shows in a row!), Helen became the first since Julie in January to have 1p in her box but *not* win it (she'd already dealt at £16,006), Nev dealt at £41,000 on the 250th show, but there were worries of a fix when it turned out that he would have had a £20k v £250k final two...luckily, he had £20k, but said he would have swapped for the £250k. We also had the welcome return of Joseph, who *almost* had an OPW of £13,000 if the last offer hadn't been £23,000, and Emi had a trainwreck of a game, but was determined to become the first member of the 50p club...but she didn't even get that, instead winning £10. Finally, Khanny himself became the first player since Aaron in March to have an all-blue opening round, and the then-biggest ever opening offer of £16,000. The board grew stronger and eventually he had a £48,000 offer..but this was no dealt, and the board subsequently collapsed, meaning he won just £5,000. And the fun would continue with...

The Harry Era: 21st September - 22nd October 2006
TAX FREE!!
Ok, now I've got that out the way, Harry with the aforementioned catchphrase was one of two new contestants in Khanny's game, as Ashley had to disappear for a few shows because of court duty (him being a policeman). This era was striking in that so many contestants had power 5 boxes on the table, starting with Vee, who dealt at £9,005 but had the £50k - the first to have a power 5 box since Steph, but by no means the last. In three astonishing games, Billy won the era's biggest win of £50,000, Matt became the first to have an all-blue first AND second round, with both offers the highest ever (£20k and £35k), but sadly he only won £5,000, and Hannah, after a bad game, scored an OPW from nowhere by opening her box to reveal £10k. The next three games (Ashley, Steve, Sarah-Jane) all had power 5 boxes in them, one £75k and two £50ks. Rhona had a turnaround of Hannah proportions by winning £15k, but it would be the last OPW for a LONG while. By this time, the £250k had not been on the table for so long, Noel began hyping it up practically every show. But it still wouldn't appear, even with David W who dealt at £25k but would have had a 10p v £250,000 decision...luckily, 10p was in there. Barbara on the first regular Sunday edition stunned millions when she was inches away from winning £100,000, but swapped it away and won £1,000, John's 'tingle' gave him no luck and he won the era's lowest win of £1, and then another three games in a row with power 5 amounts (Rosy and Donna almost winning £75k, and Ray almost winning £35k) in the boxes. Lisa provided us with fun as she danced around the studio to the DOND theme, but her game certainly wasn't, with one of the most painful trainwrecks ever, winning £100. So it was a relief when Harry's game was played, who as well as taking pictures throughout the game with his camera, achieved a great and long-awaited OPW, even though he dealt at the third offer, £20,000. As the first birthday loomed up, we entered...

The Alisdair Era: 23rd October - 16th November 2006
Alisdair joined in Lisa's trainwreck, the show before Harry's, and quickly became 'The Terminator' for having a remarkable run of reds during his run. After Harry's OPW, the luck seemed to have gone at first, with Ken having a horrible trainwreck and becoming the first £750 winner, and Valerie having an even worse one, but she avoided becoming the first 10p winner since Joan by swapping her box at the end and winning £10,000. The last show of Series 2 saw Jeff have an incredible game, winning £64,000 but having £100,000 in the box, which would start off a great run of luck for the players - after a four-month recording break (though no break in transmission), Elizabeth's game was the first ever to be played by two people throughout, her and her best friend Mandy. They won a great £40,000, and Paul A did just as well with £32,000. On the 29th October the first birthday was celebrated (two days early), and in the first of two shows that night, Crazy Jane won £27,000. In the second, though, a special birthday edition featuring Jon Culshaw, David J had an unbelievable game and won £70,000, the era's biggest win, but yet again (and luckily for him) the £250k was not on the table. The run of good luck ended the following day with Lee's £750 win, and there was a trainwreck on the Halloween special with Spiky Sandra, who won just £50. And even worse trainwreck occured in Howard's game, who had swiftly become notorious for badly opening his boxes, and taking a shine to The Banker. His high £18,000 opening offer was easily the biggest all game, as he went on to decimate the board and win the era's lowest win of £1. Everyone wrapped up warm for the special Bonfire Night edition, where Kelly won £12,500 but had a very hot £100k in her box, and at the end, Noel announced that contestant phone lines had re-opened again for the first time in months. Gaz was the first male to sell his 1p box, winning £10,000, and his show got 4 million viewers for the first time since May. Nalini had a bizarre opening round (1p, 10p, £250,000, £100,000, 50p!) but recovered enough to have the first ever draw with The Banker, her highest offer all game being £10,000, but winning just that by having it in her box! Helen sparked some controversy on the 300th show by initially refusing to play, but it's a good thing she did, as after dealing at £21,000, she completely destroyed the board and would have had a 10p v 50p decision, and 50p was in her box. Paul achieved the show's fourth OPW-by-dealing-at-third-offer, and Alisdair himself gambled his way to a £5,000 and £75,000 decision, luckily taking the £23,500 offer as the £5k was in his box. And then came...

The Brian Era: 17th November - 15th December 2006
Brian the Beardmeister joined in Paul's game, so while there's an overlap of a few shows he still lasted long enough to have an era of his own. His era truly started with Madeleine, the last contestant to still be there from Series 2. Sadly, she only won the era's lowest win of £1, but just two shows later Lynne had an incredible game where after taking out the £250k and £100k in the first round, she recovered with a literal all-or-peanuts final two of 10p and £75,000. Amazingly, she turned down the offer of £22,076, and won £75,000, easily the era's biggest win! Mixed fortune followed with Dawn's £25,000 win and Steve's £10, while Amanda...well, we may never know what happened in her game, as due to the sad death of her stepson the showing of her game was postponed, replaced with a repeat of Kirsty's instead. Anna-Marie smiled their way through a £250 trainwreck, while Lucy grabbed a great £35,000 win. Then came the era of The Rock - £20,000 was won twice in two shows, the first with Margaret who, after the best opening round ever, got a draw with the Banker by going on to the end and winning it, and then Ian did the same a day later in the 'Christmas Shopping Special', where a viewer won £50,000! But things soon turned sad again, when Ingerlise dealt at £15,000, and through much tears it turned out that after 117 shows, she was the first player to have the £250k in their box since June. Ned had a very different game indeed, with the Banker doubling his offer whenever Ned predicted it correctly, and eventually offering the first ever fourth-offer swap, and in round 6, giving an offer after every box was opened! He took the swap, and revealed £250 in his other box, but dealt at £15,000...unfortunately, he should have gone on, as it turned out he'd swapped his £250 box for the highest amount there, £75,000! Maggie had a great board but was punished by low Banker offers and won £500, Jaye was a massive DOND.co.uk favourite and won a respectable £3,000, and Mike became the first since Suzanne to take the first offer swap...and what a swap he made, swapping his 1p box for £20,000! He'd even dealt at the third offer at £26,500, making it a great OPW. DOND history was set again in Lynsey's game, when at the start of the game, boyfriend Martin came down from the audience and asked a very different question...of marriage! She said yes (or 'Deal!'), and our newly engaged couple played the game together, winning, yes, £20,000. Adie dealt at £15k but had £20,000 in the box...see the pattern here? The £20,000 practically seemed to always be in there, and in Jim's game, he went onto the end and swapped away his box as he believed it couldn't be there again. Sadly, it was - he instead won £250, and after recording cried his eyes out. Then we had the absolute heartbreak of Donna's game, who dealt at £21,000...but incredibly, she'd have been the first since Sara in 2005 to have the dream final two of £100,000 and £250,000, and an offer of £170,000. In easily the most emotional game ever, she was reduced to tears, and completely broke down when it turned out the £250,000 was in the box. Luckily we then had a less depressing show with Simon, who avoided a 10p win by dealing at £5,990, although sadly Sarah then went away with £10. And then Brian's turn finally came, in easily the most bizarre show ever - we had the East Wing dancing to the theme tune, the West Wing getting friendly (in more ways than one) with a group of Bankers in the audience, and when Wendy was sent off by Noel for cracking a smutty joke, the entire 22 left with her! Despite the insanity, Brian won £12,500, again selling a 10p box for it. Christmas was now mere days away, and as it approached we entered...

The Nicola Era: 17th December 2006 - 9th January 2007
What a first show for Nicola. Claudine turned down £44,031 on an all-red final five, and incredibly kept the £250k in play and got an offer of £107,031, which she dealt, making her at the time the second biggest winner ever! Ok, the £250,000 was in her box, but you can't be disappointed after a win like that. Gary got the first Tuesday OPW since Valerie in October when he won £25,000, closely followed by Sue having a disasterous game and almost winning 1p, though she still won the era's lowest win of £5...and a DOND mug. Karen Box had an ultra-cool surname but only got £10 out of her game, and then, before we knew it, it was Christmas! And they had some very special surprises for us in store, with two shows on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Rachel played the first Christmas Day show, but her game was far from happy, dealing at £2,400 but having £50,000 in her box. But luckily she also won an extra £1,000 and a weekend in Paris. Then, later that day, we had a very special show indeed - the top prize was upped to *£500,000*!! The £15,000 was removed from the board creating a power 6, and as it was a special show, the contestants voted for which player they think deserved it the most. They chose Wrighty, and although he took out the £500k in round 2, he recovered and got an awesome £32,000 OPW! Jenny's game on Boxing Day saw the 1p box brilliantly replaced with 'PEANUTS', and she ended the curse of female players in December by getting a £26,000 OPW, and then, to the shock of the players, ANOTHER £500k special! This time the player who got the second most votes played, and that was Danny, a huge forum favourite. He dealt at £20,000 but had £35,000 in his box, but then, as well as winning two pairs of the Banker's underpants (don't ask) he gained an extra £10,000 on top of that! But although the Christmas fun was over, DOND sauntered on, and we had another massive forum favourite in the form of Joey, the show's youngest ever Deal or No Deal contestant. Although she had a horrible start by being the first to take out the £250k and £100k in the first two boxes, she recovered enough to grab herself a £9,000 OPW, and the luck continued when Neil got a £14,500 OPW a day later. But in the last show of 2006, which saw gold boxes and Noel and contestants dressed up smartly, there was heartbreak for Alfie when after he dealt at £20,000, it turned out that the £250k was in the box YET AGAIN! His closing advice was telling everyone to 'go that little bit further' in their games, and all the players sung Auld Lang Syne as the names of every single contestant ever scrolled up the screen to end the year. And so we entered 2007, and Frank kicked us off with a bizarre show involving Julie taking her trousers off, and a system that kept going wrong, but somehow he got a mega-cool £36,126 OPW out of it. Thanh had a system based on colour clusters and took a massive £750 v £75,000 gamble, but sadly won the £750, Conor won £10,000 on the 350th show, and then...well, it finally happened. After 351 shows and two years, Laura Pearce became Deal or No Deal's first ever £250,000 winner. And she showed fantastic courage in doing so, turning down £19,999 on a board with £250k and not much else, and then an insultingly low £45,000 on a £3k v £250k final two to win it!
Any game after that was going to be an anticlimax, but it was still a memorable one with Craig, who's game caused controversy after he was offered three swaps in a row, and finally won £10. But when Nicola's day finally came, she had an incredible board and got the highest third offer ever of £35,000, which The Banker stuck at for round 4. She dealt, and then completely destroyed the board! £50k was in her box, but it was still a great result and a brilliant end to this era.

Phew, that's it! Thirteen eras of DOND which every single game fits into. Probably a pointless waste of time, but hey, at least you clicked on it. Now vote for your favourite!

YES!!!! The much fabled era's thread! Well done Billy on that one!

Its between the Lucy era and the Pat M era for me!
That was where DOND was at its prime, and I had to go for the Pat M era for comedy value and some of the best games ever!

Wow.....that was worth the wait!

I was torn between the Lucy and Pat M eras, but Pat M's had Sarah, which was the deciding factor...

Wow, that's a really hard decision, a lot of my favourite players featured in more than one era, so I'll get back to you on this! :)

Went for the Connell era, in the end, a lot of my favoruite players played then, but had been on the wings for much of the Wayne era as well (and also a lot of greats featured on the wings in the Connell era but played in the Khanny era - including Khanny himself)! :)

Great work Billy! That was a really interesting read.

After much deliberating, I went with the Lucy era, although it was a tough call between that and Pam M!

Yeah I think it was between those two as well - went for Lucy's era because I think it had everything, Pat's time perhaps had some of the greatest games but I think things started to slip a little towards the end of it as there were too many contestants the viewer didn't really get to know before their game.

In third place I'd go for Harry's time as it was a real return to form in terms of characters. The as yet unnamed Era 11 has had some spectacular games and shows so far as well!

I'm sorry everyone, but the lucky era had geordie, john g, Lucy herself, marcus, Aaron, Brenda, and basically 99.99% of my fav contestants of all time, including you Geordie, were in that era.So i voted the lucy era.

PS - did you see John G on 1vs 100 last week?

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

I voted the Pat M era, as that was when we had the most male eye-candy on the wings. I'm sure we all agree that's the most important thing...

The Lucy era was a bit of a boring one in my opinion.
