Here is the link to prove that there is a game of DOND coming out, forget the release date though, this is simply a publicity stunt but will clearly be released before xmas...

Oooh looks interesting.

Although I still think it would be better to arrange DOND games with your family/friends, the same 22 people go every week and one gets chosen to play once a week

The big image just looks a bit plain and faked to me. :?

Hope it is real though, I'd buy it. :D

I agree - it's as if they've tried to improvise the reflection from the camera.

Well at this stage of production i guess its only a concept art.

Don't know if this is real but there is a book game coming out as well:

I don't know but i guess its like you go to a page with say box 21 goto another page and the amount is there. A bit like those adventure books you get.

Yeah, I know the basic idea, I had a Mario Brothers adventure one of them years ago.
"If you want to go in the tunnel, turn to Page 45
If you want to go up the stairs, turn to Page 61" :D

I just think DOND would be too complicated to do in that way though.

I'd buy the game, if and when it's released. :-D

An interactive DVD would be just grand though!

:D

I've just had another look at the board game and I noticed the weight it states: 2kg?! Isn't that a bit heavy for a board game? Maybe you do actually get Noel Edmonds with it; maybe he leaps right out of the box when you open it up?

:-D

Pfffft I thought we'd agreed on this...

It's not Noel who jumps out of the boxes....it's Mr Blobby! :-D

I wouldn't buy it, there is no need. I'm arranging a game with my brother for him and his mates, and me and my gf's mates.

The boxes are easy to sort, they could just be modified shoe boxes or the like. One mobile phone. one host.
Probably 11 players (each player opens two boxes), with about 5 players having a game, picked from a hat.

Each player would have to stake their own money, maybe £20-£30 to get some money in the middle. So there is a bit of available money in pot. This is were the idea falters. I would like a top prize of £200 and then increments as in the show, but need a bit more money.

You could do it for no money of course, but I think that kind of misses the point.

Any ideas of how to make this work would be welcome.
