I did as well, due to a certain person...but nonetheless, that game was intense!

I'm abstaining, as I strongly suspected something big was happening, but wasn't too sure after all these hoaxes we've had.

No, I thought the Twitter notes and YouTube video were all a decoy.

I'd heard rumours of a big win and a big gamble on here, but wasn't certain until the box was opened. Even with the YouTube video, I was wondering how much of that was down to them trying to draw attention to the show while the Olympics was on...

No, because I didn't watch the youtube video, and I don't follow anyone/thing associated with the show on twitter.

Yes but only because I knew about a 5th winner and was told the date as I knew I would be on holiday.

I didn't know, and I'm glad I didn't know. It made reading the live commentary here all the more exciting and nail-biting.

I admit to seeing the Banker's tweets, and the teaser video on YouTube, but I initially dismissed them as bunk. Looks like I wasn't the only person to do so.

Also, it seems that whenever a big win occurs, it is spoiled by the same "outside source." For maximum enjoyment of the games, I would strongly recommend de-friending this individual on Facebook. I did in 2008 or so, and I've been a happier person ever since.

Yes. And thank goodness for that, because I couldn't have taken that game if I didn't.
