Is there a dress code that players must adhere to?

Obviously the show won't allow blatant advertising on clothes but I find it odd that you never see contestants wearing sandals, for example

There was someone wearing a shirt that had the Superman logo on a few months ago... can't remember who it was.

Wasn't that Scott?

That was Dom, the statsman, who the played the day after Kerry-Anne.

The players are told to bring a certain amount of clothes, I think women brung about 20 tops etc, and there are rules on what types of stripes / spots are allowed etc to stop camera flashing etc. They are told no company logos. There is no rule on footwear etc. The pilgrims are also banned from logos and before the show starts the audience team will go around covering logos with black masking tape, or ont he odd occasion changing tops with a store they have of lost property!!

The black masking tape also comes in handy for those occasions where the production team has to sit in the audience if there aren't enough pilgrims and the DOND logos on their clothes have to be covered up.
