I record DOND on Sky plus and today I got to watch Toni's game
Toni is from Wales and is only young but has had troubles along the way, like most of us I guess.

Anyway,
I was discussing her game to my mother and my older sisters
and they were somewhat surprised at her in tears as the game went on
only to discover that Toni was left with 2 very high numbers.
£75K and £250K, then adding to the pain she was offered £158K.
My family members thought she was acting like a spoilt child weeping and wailing
I was somewhat surprised myself at their reaction but I was wondering
how the other members thought about Toni's game,
Are they right in thinking that???

To be honest I felt her pain
cos she was so sure that she had a big number in her box
And she was right.
The thing that makes me laugh is that on one of the previous games
I think it may have been Rachael who thought she had a big amount in her box
and Toni was telling her to go on if she was so sure that there was a big amount.

It makes for great television, and debate with family members

If all the upcoming games until the end of the year are good and players don't blow it BIG TIME..... then this will be the WORST game of the year for me.

I was thinking she was spoilt myself, but to be fair I'd assume that most people would be gutted at missing out on huge numbers. Maybe not that gutted though.

Am I missing something here?
Ok she got the Guv'nor which is a huge amount of money
and to be honest I would have dealt if I had the same board as hers
cos the chances of taking the £250K were pretty likely
but what I think what was upsetting her was the fact she dealt too early
and should have listened to her gut instinct.
She knew herself that she had a big amount in her box
and she also knew the huge risk of turning down the guv'nor had she not dealt.

I am totally with your family on this. If you rewind and watch the point she said "deal", she had a huge grin on her face as if she was about to spank the banker and revel in that glory. In effect she got punished for that glory hunting with the proveout. A hypo swap, which would have been fair and honest, may have rubbed salt in the wound still further.

kudos to your family! I wish they'd post on here occasionally and back me up against the overwhelming 'team player' group.
