About 50% of the population of the UK are Male. About 50% of the UK population are over 40 and we haven't had that demographic of contestant win the £250k either but Noel doesn't mention it to every over 40 female who keeps the £250k to 8-box in live play.

I don’t think we need a male quarter millionaire. Of course it would be nice to have one eventually because it‘s something that hasn‘t happened yet, but it’s not absolutely vital we have one. So I vote 'no'.
