The site's Twitter account is used to provide links to the daily commentaries (without spoiling the result of the show!), as well as stats and other bits and bobs, including DoND news. Any information regarding forum maintenance or outages would also be posted on the Twitter account, so it is particularly useful for people who regularly visit the site. :D

why do you need to be able to follow this site on twitter if you are interested in this site you can visit this site i dont understand why people make such a big thing about twitter at the start of every deal or no deal they put the twitter address up but they never mention this site online forums like this and digital spy are better then twitter they have longer and more meaningful discussions

No TV programme acknowledges unofficial forums. The show doesn't even mention it has an official forum on the C4 site.
