After a few years of not really being into Deal (except for the odd Christmas episode) I recently got back in to the show, partly because years after I applied I got a call from the audience team and in March I went to see a recording.

I'm just wondering who was the contestant who's episode Channel 4 didn't show, instead they showed £75,000 winner Kirsty's show? It was due to a death of a family member. Anyone know how much she won? Did it get paid out as it wasn't aired?

I guess she didn't win a lot anyway and I assume cheques can't be paid in till the programme is aired?

It was a constant called Amanda. Show date 24th November 2006.

If she got paid, probably yes but it's unknown.

How much was won however remains unknown, though there were constants on here at the time, though they didn't say how much as far as I'm aware.

It's an interesting mystery.
