"Saw"...

Sorry. Anyway, I wasn't paying attention today, but the other day I shouted out "Ooh, Fran won!", and nobody else in the room knew what I was talking about, as it obviously wasn't her playing. How tragic.

Before Thursday's HugWatch, a couple of points:

1. I checked yesterday's show again and yes, Peter did wheel, but he was on the extreme right-hand corner of the screen and it wasn't really speedy.

2. To be King/Queen of HugWatch, you have to be the first to hug that show's player, in today's case, Rich.

Anyway, here's the moment you've all been waiting for!!! The thing that's much more exciting than Big Brother!!! Yes, Thursday's edition of HugWatch!!! Take it away!!! Come on!!!

(Improvise some kind of tune) Every one needs a hug once in a while, a hug can do wonders! (Insert one of those traiangle instrument things!)When your feeling down a hug is all you need. So hug hug hug until your arms drop off...

Give me an H! H!
Give me a U! U!
Give me a G! G!
Give me a W! W!
Give me an A! A!
Give me a T! T!
Give me a C! C!
Give me an H! H!

What does that spell? HugWatch!

Well, not a big surprise in Thursday's HugWatch. Just as Noel walked away from the Pound Table to do his closing speech, Carlton sprinted from the East Wing to be the first to hug Rich and therefore King of HugWatch. Fran, the last HugWatch Queen to date, closely followed Carlton, while Scott was the first to hug Ellie, Rich's fiancée.

The rest of the gang then piled in to embrace Rich at the Pound Table, and Scott finally hugged Rich just before the camera panned out and the show ended. Have to say there was no sign of Peter and his speedy wheeling. I checked the tape twice but if anyone did see him, feel free to say.

Will Carlton do an encore and be King of HugWatch? Will Fran get in there and embrace tomorrow's player? Will it be Scott or someone else? Will there be any simultaneous hugging like Jainie and Jason a few shows back? All will be revealed in Friday's thrilling instalment of HugWatch.....

(Piano)
Who will be the first to embrace?
Who will win the mighty race?
East or West?
Who's the best?
Jainie or June
You’ll find out soon!
Richard or Louise?
Ooh who will really please?
Will Peter rush to congratulate
Or will he commiserate?
(Fading piano)

HugWatch ohh yey!

Yes that is true. It would be poor showing on Carlton's part if he didn't get in first really. They'll have to be some super-sprinting from someone if they want decrown King Carlton.

HugWatch is quite literally sweeping the nation.

Maybe someone should start a leader board to find who's the true HugWatch champ. :-D

That sounds like a plan.
