Did anyone else notice that Dave W was the first person to give the contestant a hug at the end of the show after the Legalised Telephone Lottery (LTL)?

Also, during her long reign, Lucy was often the first to give a contestant a hug after the LTL.

One notable exception on Saturday was when the £20k was revealed in Morris' game before the end and the LTL: Emma B was the first to hug the Bard of Huddersfield.

Anyway, to this week...

Jason was the first to hug Emma D at the end after the LTL. Dave W was second. Who will it be tomorrow? Tune in to HugWatch at the end of DoND following the LTL.

I noticed that about Lucy, she always hugged then stepped back afterwards.

Looking forward to HugWatch as and when the hugs happen!!

Today's Hugwatch report:

HugWatch reached a whole new level today, as Dave W made no attempt in hiding his desire to get that all-important "First Hug". Noel had barely moved out of the way when Dave sprinted, in a very manly and athletic fashion, to give Terri what was altogether a very cute (and rather long) hug. Selfish, some might say. I say, take as long as you like on my screen, Dave, as long as you like.

That was Rhian, reporting for HugWatch UK - stay tuned for more hugging tomorrow.

Well, it looks like Dave W is the Current King of HugWatch. Who will succeed him after his game? Will Jason muscle in and be the first person to hug tomorrow's contestant? Will it be anyone else?

Find out in Wednesday's HugWatch....

Time for the long overdue instalments of HugWatch:

Wednesday: Jason was the first to give Dave W (Smiler) a hug and I bet Rhian was jealous!!! ;)

Thursday: Yet again, Jason rushed to give Gary a hug following his £1 win and the LTL.

Friday: Guess what? Jason was the first to hug Susie at the end.

Tonight: Emma B was the first to hug Max at the end of the show!!! :-D

So Jason is the King of HugWatch with Emma B vying to become Queen. Will Jason reign supreme or will Emma B or someone else rush to give a hug at the end of DoND? Find out in Monday's Hugwatch...

Where does Lofty stand in the HugWatch drama? Does he go straight in for the sweep or does he merely shake a hand?

HugWatch Update!

Jason was the first to congratute Simon with a brief high five and then a man hug! :-D And some sharp wheel action from Peter too! ;)

Yes, I know you've all been waiting for it!!! :-D

Tuesday's HugWatch:

Yet again, Jason sprinted to give Tan a hug at the end of the show closely followed by East Wing neighbour Buzz. The others came along more slowly and Peter wheeled his way across as quick as he could.

Will Jason continue to be the King of HugWatch? Will Emma B or anyone else get in there first? Find out in Wednesday's instalment of HugWatch!!!

We seriously need some instrumental music to go with this...

(Improvise some kind of tune) Every one needs a hug once in a while, a hug can do wonders! (Insert one of those traiangle instrument things!)When your feeling down a hug is all you need. So hug hug hug until your arms drop off...

I demand these lyrics to be sung in HugWatch from now on.

(I'm thinking about hiring a group of cheer leaders to shout out 'Give me a H etc etc)

Whose with me on this one? :-D

Now, it's time for today's edition of HugWatch:

(Improvise some kind of tune) Every one needs a hug once in a while, a hug can do wonders! (Insert one of those traiangle instrument things!)When your feeling down a hug is all you need. So hug hug hug until your arms drop off...

Give me an H! H!
Give me a U! U!
Give me a G! G!
Give me a W! W!
Give me an A! A!
Give me a T! T!
Give me a C! C!
Give me an H! H!

What does that spell? HugWatch!

Yet again, Jason sprinted to the Pound Table to give Sarah a hug, closely followed by Buzz. Tom was the first from the West Wing to get in there as the rest of the gang piled in, including Peter and his speedy wheeling.

Will Jason continue to reign supreme in the HugWatch Stakes? Will someone else get there before him to give tomorrow's contestant the first hug? Find out in Thursday's HugWatch....

(Closing Music - feel free to devise some!!! :D ;) )

Thanks for your comments, guys and gals!!! Glad you like the thread!!! :-D Yup, it's that time again!!! Time for Thursday's thrilling instalment of Hugwatch. Take it away!!!

(Improvise some kind of tune) Every one needs a hug once in a while, a hug can do wonders! (Insert one of those traiangle instrument things!)When your feeling down a hug is all you need. So hug hug hug until your arms drop off...

Give me an H! H!

Give me a W! W!
Give me an A! A!
Give me a T! T!
Give me a C! C!
Give me an H! H!

What does that spell? HugWatch!

Well, it was different on one hand and the same on the other. Jason sprinted yet again to be the first to hug Tom after his big win and victory over The Banker, closely followed by Buzz and the rest of the East Wing gang.

Yet, Carlton, Fran and Rich got to The Pound Table just as Jason arrived, but the HugWatch King being his competitive self wouldn't allow Carlton or any of the West Wingers to get in before him.

Sadly, we didn't see any of the West Wing gang hug Tom or Peter's speedy wheeling but I'm sure they did hug eventually.

Will Jason finally be toppled as King of HugWatch? Will we see any of the West Wingers hug tomorrow's contestant? Find out in the bit of DoND that's taking this forum by storm. Yes, you guessed it, tune in to Friday's HugWatch for all this and more....

(Closing Music - you're all welcome to suggest some)
