I'm afraid Lance's deal is one of the worst ever as well. :( However I think we need a top 30 rather than a top 10 now.

More like top 100
Lance has just outdone Richard for worst deal ever IMO. I was watching the question being asked and I was like 'Oh for god sake, don't deal' and what does he go and do?

Who the *beep*ing hell would deal a measly £17,500 on a board like that when there's so much more to win?

A Targetest greedy coward with no intention of playing the gam....oh hang on....

For me, Lance's isn't as bad as Richards. Lance's, take out the big three and still got chance of 35k. Richards, still got chance of 50k.

Lance's deal was even worse than Louise's deal, and I thought her deal was bad.

Lance's deal was bad, definately worse than Louise's, but maybe not the worst we've ever seen.

I'm not so sure it beats Louise because Louise had mid-reds...

...but it's a more surprising one because it was sub-£20k.

What's in no doubt is that the worst deal ever was made in 2008.

The past week or so have been pretty bad but not as bad as Richard or the guy who dealt at £1000 at 8 box with the £100k still in play and 7 blues when an all blue round was almost certain (which is what happened). Cant remember his name but he played about Oct/ Nov last year.

Jim

Thanks James1978 below......Michael....that was him.

Tricky really Lance had 4 above though so his was fractionally worse perhaps although they're so abysmally close anyway!

Louise will always seem worse because of what she was left with in proveout, although hindsight shouldn't play a part. However at the time I thought "WHAT?" more at Louise's deal than at Lance's.

And whilst Michael's deal was bizarre, at least there was the fact that he had 7 blues and 1 red, so was highly likely to have a blue in his box which would've presented a problem if he wanted to play further into the game. Something which can't be said for people like Richard / Colleen as they had so many reds when they dealt!

I don't think Michael's is the one, but it might win through in many peoples' minds simply because of the indistinguishable £20k-odd Deals on huge boards lately all cancelling each other out...

Beryl, JT, Kathleen, Stephen, Michael, Justin, Hayley, Richard, Harvey, Colleen, Karl, Louise, Lance, it's hard to put them in order...

How many more games this month do you think will make the list?

All of them at this rate.

And here's a question - who did the worse deal - 11-box Steven for £27,500 or 8-box Stephen for £20,000? (Both played 6 months apart.)

The latter. By a long, long, long way.

I'd even have Dealt the £27,500 in another era, one where eight-box offers for over 80% of the mean were outlandish rather than something to expect.

I wouldn't say today's was as bad as Lance's or Louise's as at least there was quite a gap between £20k and £100k / £250k. But it was undoubtedly another bad deal.

Today wasn't as bad as the last two, but it was still a stupid deal.

I'm getting really annoyed at the players now, there could've been a maximum of £600,000 to be given away in the last 3 games, instead only £53,500 was handed out. Oh well, hopefully during the summer break these contestants will knock some sense into themselves and understand what the game's about.

I'm just looking forward to a game that doesn't end up being mentioned on this thread! Probably will end up being a blue win on a weak board throughout though. :(

Interesting recently how after each episode of DOND, it brings a new candidate to this thread.

   You're hoping, aren't you? They haven't had anyone on there who understood what the game is all about since Betty! Yvi and Jess excepted of course!
