My mum applied to be on the show a while ago and the application form asked her her fave number between 1-26, are they making the game bigger?

Well, anything to do with TV gets tired or has a face-lift, so maybe.

Just for the record, mine is 4. :D

I hope they don't make 26 boxes. I like it the way it is.

That is strange. I doubt they'll change it, but they like having the flexible format, I expect.

Yeah thy have 26 boxes in the US. But they have much bigger prize money too. I like our board, with the £250,000 dominating the whole game because its so much bigger than any of the others.

Plus you will have people gamble for it as its not too big a drop if they were left with boxes like Kirsties game.

I hope it stays with 22 boxes. It's just the right number.

Most of the other versions around the world have 26 boxes. I'd imagine that when questions for the UK application form were compiled there was an idea that we'd have that too. I'm guessing that even though the number of boxes were subsequently lowered to 22, nobody ever got around to updating the application form.

Now that makes sense

Is it just me or did anyone think the application form was a bit naff? I thought it didnt look very good at all!

I saw the 26 question and I did wonder what it could mean and then thought they may not have updated it, but the title of the form was DOND2 so maybe the are thinking of adding boxes or were until they realised they already had the perfect format and have since stuck with 22 boxes.

We will just have to wait and see!!

:-)
