In the defunct A Prendre Ou A Laisser, for most of its life, it had a Joker, which its value was determined by a quiz, affected by the number of contestants correctly answering the question.
The base value of that Joker was I think at least €10,000, but the base value had been as high as €30,000, so that the Joker was worth more than €500,000 in certain games.
In Affari Tuoi, the Joker is represented as Pacco X, with the value determined by an envelope which the contestant picks at some point in his game. The envelope is only opened and value revealed after the contestant reveals the Pacco X.
Now, I wonder if this should have a Joker, and if so, which version should it use.
If it were to use the French version, the base value should probably be £5,000 (maximum value of £110,000), and probably should replace the £15,000 amount on the board.
The Italian version, if it were used probably should have 22 envelopes, and the contestant should select the envelope just after the housekeeping has been done, and amount revealed after the "Joker" is revealed.
I do emphasize that the Joker Question should not affect contestant selection, nor the base value get changed (to the side effect of the Joker being the jackpot amount, as it had at least three times in the French version (to a whopping €660,000!).
