That's approximately 1 in 6 have gone away with less than a grand, I thought it was a more regular occurrence!

Wayne dealing for £999 is just the height of cool. :-D

The 1p and £1 clubs are so packed that it's not even funny anymore.

I like how 10p still only has two members, and 50p has diddley squat, though. And kudos to the £50, £100, and £750 clubs for keeping small...and, obviously, the £20, £300 and £999 clubs. But somehow I doubt they'll have a new member in due time.

There are a lot of very brave contestants amongst that bunch who could have walked away with thousands of pounds but chose to no deal, mostly to the bitter end. :(

I've just been looking at how many blue wins there have been each month, since DOND started.

Oct-05 N/A - only 1 episode this month
Nov-05 1
Dec-05 2
Jan-06 3
Feb-06 2
Mar-06 6
Apr-06 3
May-06 5
Jun-06 7
Jul-06 5
Aug-06 2
Sep-06 2
Oct-06 7
Nov-06 7

It's interesting to note that depsite there being many extra shows in June due to Double Deal Week, there were only 6 wins in that month and in October 2006 and November 2006, with the normal number of episodes in each month (well, ok, 1 extra in October due to the anniversary episode and 1 less in November due to the cancelled episode), there were 7 blue wins in each month.

Also - note the general upward trend of the number of blue wins in each month - this is either due to the changing tactics of the banker's offers to encourage gambling, or it is due to people gambling because they have witnessed the advantages of gambling.

What's also interesting is that October, which had 7 blue wins, provided us with our biggest win week ever, thanks admittedly due to the extra anniversary show, but even without David J's £70,000, it would still be one of the biggest weeks ever. It just goes to show that October really was a month of ups and downs.

Oh, and another thing - August managed 2 blue wins, despite having 4 episodes in that month.

Yes, Lindsay and Sharron are on the lowest winners list, and Nick D and Lance are on the biggest winners list! What a polarised month that was.

Jim swapped away £20,000 to win £250. That's the biggest loss made by swapping and winning a blue, beating Connell's swapping away of £10,000 to win 1p.

I think you've missed Sue, who won £5 on 20th December, and Karen, who won £10 two days later.

I think you've missed Sue, who won £5 on 20th December, and Karen, who won £10 two days later.

I saw both those shows in Bristol, shame they were low wins! :(

Happy to have seen GK get £10,000 though, but if I'd gone up a week later for the following Tuesday I'd have seen Laura's game!

if i went to the end and had a red and the 1p, i would not swap if i had been offered it, like connell did, as i think i would regret it more if i swapped to bring the 1p to the table, i would do the same if i was left with a blue.

i dont think the dinner for two should be included for nathan - its a money game plus the dinner for 2 bit is pure crappy joke. Nathan dealt at £500

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

ITA with Dan. We should count it as £500, if you included the dinner for two, the offer would have been a silly AMO.

I've updated this to include PJ's 1p win, seeing as though he's now the 10th member of the 1p club! :?
