Kerrie and Tommy's game are the best ones for me so far out of that list... followed by Amy.

It's surprising that we're almost at the end of March and a win of less than £30,000 is still in the top 5 highest wins. I suspect the first three months of other years - 2007 in particular - would show a different story.

Maybe £45,000 is the new high-stakes version of the G'uvner!

What is the lower stakes version??

£10K? £15K? What do you all reckon?

Honestly, it depends on the era. There was a era in early 2011 when he got many out for £16,000, several eras where he got people out at £10,000 and even eras where many dealt £8,000. Nowadays there are limited situations where the governor can be offered (mainly £75k and £100k high finishes and strong £250k high 8 and 5 boxes ) whereas when it was first introduced and dealt often (early 2006 to May 2007) the banker was so unpredictable with offers he could have offered it in basically any situation where the average was over £26,000. Judging by the stats of the games before this extraordinary period, it looks as though £16,000 is currently the "mini-governor."

I've been looking at the site since the beginning of 2013 (and have slowly been browsing the archives since) and set up an account then but it took 3 months for the administration board to activate it for some reason :ponder: .

Well, in terms of the stats for this year so far, £15k is the lowest 5-figure to get the most players out - Abby, Dave, Steve and Woody (Kristian winning this sum from the box). £12k arguably more so actually, as Jean, Tom and Hannah all dealt at 8-box!

Pretty well judged, Arch! :smt023

Sorry to be pedantic, but Steve dealt at 2-box. :smt023

Lee's £48,000 win today makes him top of the leaderboard, knocking off Amy and her £28,000 win.

It's very important to get into the mindset of the Banker!

But hopefully the biggest win of the year will happen soon.

Joel, is it worth mentioning on the list, if there are wins of £50,000, £75,000, £100,000 or even £250,000, which ones are from box and which are deals?
Just a thought there, as although we will always know Roy dealt £100k, any members who join after today/never saw the game/never saw the game thread might not already be aware of that.
