She was complaining that Federer and Nadal are never on a smaller court, indeed Federer has been on Centre Court for all of his matches this year (as has Andy Murray).

It'll still be a Federer/Nadal final...as much as I'd love to disagree with Greeny, he's right - Nadal is going to completely destroy Murray :(

But at those odds, it's definitely worth betting a £10 bet on Andy ;)

Both Williams sisters are in the Semi-Finals.

I think we already know they'll both be playing on Centre Court on Saturday!

Still, it was nice to see Jamie Murray complete the family celebrations by winning in the Mixed Doubles 3rd round today! :)

I was left distinctly underwhelmed by all the quarter finals today, not one of them interested me, which is the problem with all the shock results in the first week.

Tomorrow sees Federer v Ancic and Murray v Nadal on Centre Court, and Lopez v Safin and Schuettler v Clement on Court 1, which should see some better matches, though I actually suspect the best quarter finals will actually be the two matches on court 1, which, while not quite as attractive names on show (ladies will love the Lopez v Safin quarter final), will be closer, and hence provide the better quarter finals.

I hope it isn't another Federer/Nadal final. It will be nice to seem some variation so come on Murray!!!!

And also, it seems a Williams is going to win the Ladies this year...

I agree with Greeny - hell if the miracle happens and Andy wins tomorrow, he'll have a shockingly strong opponent to contest with in the semi-final. Those two quarters on Court Number 1, they're going to be amazing stuff to watch.

My pick will be Federer beating Ancic in straight sets, Murray I'd love to see win at least one set against Nadal so I'll predict Nadal wins it in four sets, then Safin to continue his incredible riot in convincing style, and Schuettler to shock Clement in straight sets.

Hopefully Clement will thrash Schuettler tomorrow, i'm still bitter about him beating Blake

My prediction

Federer v Ancic - Federer in 3 sets
Nadal v Murray - Nadal in 4 sets

Safin v Lopez - Safin in 5 sets
Schuettler v Clement - Clement in 5 sets

I can see both court 1 games going the distance, much closer than the big name matches on Centre.

Schuettler beating Clement woulkd certainly not be a "shock". Rainer's the higher ranked of the two and has been to 5 in the world. The winner of Nadal-Murray (please be Nadal, please!) will be almost guaranteed a place in the final, though!

After about 10 days of pretty much wall-to-wall sunshine, today's been a washout and I doubt Murray will even get to play as not much of the Rafael / ROFL Nadal (yes awful pun...) vs Roger Federer match has even been played yet due to rain breaks.

Well at the rate of this match Murray could be on at 7ish...

Did you put that after Federer broke Ancic and took the second set? :P

Federer's serve is the reason why he will win Wimbledon again this year - it's the one thing Nadal will NEVER beat...at least not yet!

So I'm now expecting Federer to make light work of this third set, get it all done so the REAL show can begin! :D

That's because Federer's playing Ancic, not Nadal.

Anyway, Roger to win! Please! I'd also love Safin to beat Lopez.

Well Safin has won the second set, so it's 1 set each at the moment.

The Williams sisters are through to the Women's Doubles Semi-Final - I can smell a double for one of them!

Game, set and match to the Fed Express - he has yet to drop a single set this year!

Bring on the main event! :D

Oh yes. :bonk:

I see the Nadal vs Murray match is under way at last. I wouldn't be surprised if it was quite a quick match with Nadal winning...

He's basically lost the first set now so he's probably going down the old route he used on Monday with false sense of security and bam hit him with the centre court crowd!
