For the English Premier League, at present the four top clubs qualify for the Champions League; the top two automatically qualify for the group stages, the third- and fourth-placed sides start in the third-round qualifying stage, the one before the group stage.
It has now all but been agreed that it will change to the top THREE clubs automatically qualifying for the group stages, and the fourth-placed club will start from the SECOND round qualifying stage!!!
How amazing would that be, knowing three clubs in Britain will already be in the group stages, with the other three (two Scottish) then hopefully joining them!!!
What's everyone's opinion?
