Fiorentina: relegation to Serie B, plus 12 points of penalty in the 2006/2007 Serie B league.
Lazio: relegation to Serie B, plus 7 points of penalty in the 2006/2007 Serie B league.

Fiorentina docked 12 points
Lazio docked 7 points
Juventus docked 30 points

Fiorentina, AC Milan and Juventus kicked out of the Champions League
Lazio kicked out of Uefa Cup.

Some referees have also got bans for their role.

- Tullio Lanese: Suspended for 2 years
- Massimo de Santis: Suspended for 4 years, 6 months
- Paolo Dondarini: Suspended for 3 years, 6 months
- Gianluca Paparesta: Suspended for 3 months

Anyhow, I can already hear the word "appeal" in the offing and I will be surprised if any of these penalties will stick at the level set at the moment. They will probably be reduced quite a bit by the time the new season starts. I would bet the farm on it!

Will they replace the teams that have been banned, will they be Italian?? Can't see how it's going to work at the moment

They are being replaced by other Italian clubs, the ones who were next highest in the table. They still get the same allocation of places as before (as it's the Italians themselves handing out the punishments, not UEFA).
