Not a classic RWC, I'm afraid...
And the final was just dreadful.
And if France had won - which they so nearly did - they definitely would not have deserved it. They scraped through the pool stage, and were really lucky against England and Wales...
I would say that it was a good World Cup. 2007 was absolute dross, with the final just as boring. At least with this one a couple of teams played some excellent rugby. There were one or two really good perfomances from the minnows and there was plenty of drama to boot.
Nice that France managed to keep it so tight against the ABs. They had to win really didn't they? But it would have been a shame if they just rolled France over.
What are people's thoughts on the up-coming six nations? It will be interesting to see how this
England squad go. I think they might struggle to be honest. I'd love to see more of the same from the Welsh squad. I'm not keen on having Henson in the team though. I think he is a great player but throughout his career he has been handed things on a plate and it would be good if he actually had to work for his position in the squad.
George North and Toby Falatau are just getting better and better!
