Well England can console themselves with the fact that they undoubtedly got the better of the West Indies
in two test matches even though they lost the series 1-0

It sets it up well for the 2 match series v West Indies here in the early part of the summer
just before The Ashes.

You couldn't make up half the stuff that happens in cricket... the West Indies batsmen chose to go off for bad light with 22 balls remaining thinking they had won the match, unfortunately for them they had misread the Duckworth-Lewis tables and England had actually won by one run, if they had stayed out there they would probably have won it! :lol:

Yes hopefully it will be hosted here with tickets very inexpensive after the announcement they can't have it India because of it clashing with the Election. It will either be here or in South Africa apparently.

It's probably for the best as our domestic season will also be underway by the time the IPL starts, so finding grounds for the fixtures would be difficult.
