Well the forecast hasn't changed, and Edgbaston looks in a pretty bad state atm. Forecast isn't good for Saturday or Monday either.

We have play! Pretty much certain of play on Monday now... everyones happy!

This match has got draw written all over it, looks the only likely result with rain forecast for the next few days.

Ahhh so easily fooled... you have not factored in the Met Office's brand new forecast of wet and wild into August. BBQ Summer here we come!

One one thing is beyond question; Australia played fantastically last night

Went to Edgbaston Thursday and got 30 overs of play, just enough not to get any refund!

Looks like this one is heading for a draw, although if England bat all day tomorrow and get a good lead they could enforce a win if The Aussies capitulate again. Our bowling attack is looking good. It would be hard to see Onions dropped for Harmison even on a faster pitch, but Broad and Bopara's places are under threat now.

I have a funny feeling that Flintoff will be dopped for Headingley to make sure he is fit and able for the final push at The Oval and I'd hope Harmy gets his place...

To be fair he's not done a lot in the first three days and is not likely to be doing much in the next two. So hopefully he'll be OK for the last two tests.

Two days to avoid being bowled out twice...draw for sure! With two Tests remaining, this is looking good!

Yes, I ate my words!

A draw still looks the probable outcome tomorrow, but after today's solid performance from our lads, you never know; early wickets in the morning and anything is possible!

Anything could happen really... it's going to be fun! (If your watching on Sky Sports I'm going to be in the stand between the old scoreboard and the big screen I'll give you a wave.)

Going very well so far...six more wickets needed before England can head out there and thrase out the runs needed for an unchallenged 2-0 series lead...

The placings of the Aussies in the crowd was genius though... a block of about 100 of em sat just below the Barmy Army.
