You have box 12...

1 - 1p! Perfect start!
3 - £50,000! Not so perfect after all.
5 - 50p! Already down to one huge downward shift!
7 - £1,000. We'll take that...
11 - £20,000.

Three reds against two blues, but 3-1 to the upside on huge shifts...

...maybe not for long as £75,000 is shifting! Any drop puts it in the standard column at best...

...say hello to £125,000!

Woah!

Only having 5 bigger than it, and only one round down, does suggest a suitably fine offer, but THREE! six-figure amounts does rather point me in another direction.

No Deal!

2 - £15,000. There's one of them higher but it's OK.
4 - £35,000! Crumbs, this is dangerous already and it's not even 14-box!
8 - £250! Did we ever need that!

The shift... it's a 3/14 chance of a huge increase but it's odds-on we go down...

...£50 goes, so it's not a big deal either way...

...£7,000 comes in! That's more like it!

It's 14 box, and now it could be over in one round.

However, I don't think it will be.

No Deal.

10,13 and 20 please.

Let's hope this round produces crystal-clear brilliance!

15 - £100,000! Oh dear... good job the shifted one is in play too
17 - 10p! Perfect response and the huge drops are out of the game!
19 - £750! The former £5 takes its leave, so both duplicates are out...

£100 shifts... down, alas, your first negative shift of the game. £35 comes in but the round has all told been survived. Still the top two in play...

£1
£10
£35
£750

£7,000
£10,000
£100,000
£250,000

Banker's offer:

£20,000

It's reasonable, It's not lower than anything I have turned down, and it's close, if not bang on the board's worth.

DEAL!!

Prove it out with 6,9 and 14 please.

The Banker says if you were going to take that you should have gone last time!

6 - £7,000. It started as blue, and in this context it might as well be almost...
9 - £100,000! Shifted one's gone!
14 - £10,000! Oh my goodness, four blues and the jackpot... what a configuration for a shift...

£1 shifts! So the jackpot would have survived. 80% chance it still stands alone, 20% chance another red - potentially another big red - comes in...

33p, so it's still an ultra-perilous final five...

33p
£10
£100
£750

£250,000

Banker's offer would've been:

£16,500

We know now we want 22 to have a blue...

16 - £100. There's one...
18 - £750... there's another...
21 - £10! Flip-o-blimey...

33p or £250,000 in the box. Would the Seventh Shift have tempted you?

Oh, erm, aah, well...

No, I'd have bargained on the "respecting courage" angle getting me a reasonable enough offer on those two as it is.

While you'd have got an even higher generosity offer if you had taken it on, if ever there was a finish to not do it, that's probably it...

Banker's offer would've been:

£63,000

And box 12... had £250,000! Never had the backups to win it without reckless play, though. 33p was in 22.

Good luck with your original boxes and less good luck everywhere else came to an eventual £20k win. Not bad, not bad! :)

Haha. Oh dear.

The last three offers would have all been dealt anyway, so as you say, it was never gonna happen that way! Not Bad, Not Bad!
