Here's an idea...

In the .txt log dump it shows you what was in your box, but not the other box, so maybe you could make it so that the bottom of the file was like this:

You accepted an offer of £28,200 in round 4.
There was £15,000 in your box.
Box 7 contained £1,000.

is it just me where when you deal at 2 boxes you just get what's in your box even if you click 'Deal'.

1.5.1
+ Secondary option added in XML file for offer generation, used for high (£35,000+) numbers
* Offers will no longer be below the minimum value on board (thanks Sam Harrow)
* Proveout winnings now shows max possible winnings during proveout (i.e. highest offer, or amount in box if that's larger)
* Last 2 boxes resulted in winning contents of box if offer was accepted (thanks jonny)

Great game. Really great game.

A couple of thoughts:

1. To reflect the Banker's tendency to make punishment offers after bad rounds (and to some extent, overreactions to good rounds), perhaps the offer should be placed at either end of the possible range depending upon the previous round? (There should still be a truly random element, though.)

2. Perhaps the values at the final six could squash to the bottom of the screen as they do on the TV display at that stage?

1.6
+ Money values on side of board now sqash down at penultimate offer
+ Restored white text on coloured background when revealing box contents
+ Offers are weighted based on how well player did in previous round

* Offers under £1 were not being rounded - could have been offered 27.5p etc

What problem are you getting? Did an older version work for you?

None of them have worked. What do I run the program in as that may be the problem.

It is a .NET executable, which means you'll need to have .NET v2.0 installed - links are provided in first post of this topic and the website.

If you get an initialisation error it means you don't have it installed, or it may tell you you don't have the correct version (you may have 1.1 etc).

It is a Windows executable, not sure if it works under anything like WinE - I presume not.

1.6.2 has come out. it says that the numbers are crushed to the bottom after the final 6, not 5. the numbers slide off the screen, like they do on TV

1.7 : README
+ Crowd responds to contents of box (can be disabled)
+ Last box must now be clicked before revealing contents of players
+ Added warning to About form about purchase of game - some people are selling it on eBay (This will always be FREE).

* Offers will no longer be close to lowest value (e.g. £10,100 offer with £10k and £15k in play)
N: Minor tweaks with offer values and round ratings
N: If anyone has any better crowd sounds I would appriciate it, contact me at: jarnie at gmail.com

You can, just change the % chance option in the Options menu!

Having said that I just swapped £750 for £15,000 and it said I won 0p!!!
