On a wedigtv game, I had no dealt an approximately £17,400 with 10p, £10 (or some other blue), £5,000, £50,000 and £75,000, and proceeded to take out the three lowest, with 10p last to go.
The Banker offered £67,100+, which was 107.2+% of the mean! The real banker wouldn't do this in real life, mind you, I've seen a similar situation over a year ago (Lynn's game) and that offer then was £62,000, just under the mean. Yes, I did predict the offer of £62,000 until I got that surprise!
Needless to say, I no dealt, no swapped, but ultimately ended up with "just" £50,000, and the virtual audience still applauded, despite it being an OBW in a strict sense.
In real life, I still would have no dealt the £67,100+, since £50,000 is still a decent prize to take.
Has anyone else encountered an AMO (especially at 2-box) when playing at Wedigtv?
