Not so much a suggestion as a query.

It says at the bottom of the forum home page that the most amount of users online at the same time was 116 ( :shock: :shock: ) on Tuesday 6th June at 1.16am!!!!!

What the bloody hell was happening for that amount of people to be up at that hour?! Anyone remember?! :?

I was wondering the same thing, Duffer... 116 members online all at once at 1:16am? Perhaps it made a mistake and counted all the ones who had logged in in that day or something. :?

I do believe -though I could well be wrong- that the search engine spiders make their merry way round the Internet at around this sort of time of month; I've seen a few times now the 'users online' counter going barmy in the early hours towards the end of the month!

If you go into your profile, you can set it so that nobody can see when you're online. Not sure what the point of that is, but I know a couple of people do it...

Kes will probably be able to explain it better than I can, but it means exactly that- their online presence is hidden from view by other forum members. You can change your forum visibility in your profile; if you hide yourself, the only people who will be able to see you and where you are are the Site Admin.
