This thread is dedicated to all things about the capital of the North of England, Leeds.

Feel free to post anything Leeds-related here, providing it's good, or I shall get most upset!

I'll set our first discussion topic up, where's the best places to go out in Leeds.

I like the Faversham, followed by the Cockpit at the weekend. Awesome!

My lecturer is from Leeds and he did some docterate or something there in making sheet music for the blind.

Also the Kaiser Chiefs rock! and they're from Leeds aren't they?

As a Midlander (I prefer not to use the word Brummie seen as I'm not from Birmingham!!! , lol), I think the North is much better than the south. Better accents for a start!!

Hurrah! I'm loving the love for Leeds on this forum.

Yes the Kaisers are from Leeds and yes they do rock! I'm a bit annoyed, they played Millennium Square recently and I couldn't get hold of tickets. Would have been an awesome night!

There's Chris Moyles I guess - would you class him as a good or bad thing about Leeds? Do you get your lunch at Longman's sandwich shop?!

I think Chris Moyles is quite funny. He makes me laugh when I'm trekking into school at 7 in the morning! Never been to Longmans though!!

Nothing wrong with B******d Greeny, I'm living with someone born there so I can't be that against them! Just a bit of friendly rivalry. That said it's like a geordie being asked to say something nice about Sunderland!

I attended a lecture at Bradford Museum of film and blahblaha it was very boring and we weren't allowed to look around the museum. We just saw Bradford back streets and was advised not to go anywhere.

So I would imagine it's a nice place

It's OK, it's just no Leeds!

Have to admit I have been to the Museum of Film, TV and Photography and I quite enjoyed it. I remember reading the news while my sister was the weather forecaster. That was cool!

There was a bit too where you could sit on a 'magic carpet' in the middle of a blue room and they'd change the scenery behind you. That was fun too! I was quite young though, don't know if I'd be as impressed if I were to go back now!

They were selling Dressing Gowns with "Bates Motel" (from Psycho) on. Great! I'd love one of those. 8)
