Happy Valentines everyone, but I also agree with Tom. Surely your relationships are special and therefore you don't need a themed day, considering there are anniversaries or birthdays or when you first met etc. Surely you don't need to buy some cheesy teddies to show your love to someone?

All the girls in my corridor are in relationships and they all hate the day, as do I, though I am single.

I hate the day was invented by pagans, so we aren't celebrating I don't need to be lavished to know how much I am loved!

I like the day. It was quite depressing being alone this year but overall I like it. At least it wasn't on a school day though, so I still have the memories of rubbing it in everyones faces last year

I am currently single again, and have been since November. This may have been slightly noticed here.

I personally was writing up a relatively short four page document yesterday and was most attracted to the cup of tea on my desk. They can be satisfyingly boring, if you stare at them long enough.

Not much satisfaction however in the rest of my day.

I've never really been into Valentines Day and this year was no exception.
