Poll of the week #41 - are you afraid of Friday 13th?

Tomorrow is Friday 13th February, the first such day since Friday 13th June 2008. There's also another Friday 13th next month!

Are you bothered by Friday 13th? Do you suffer from paraskavedekatriaphobia which is the fear of Friday 13th?

I used to be really superstitious, especially given the fact I used to have torrid luck on Friday 13ths...until I stopped thinking about it all and since I did it's just been a normal day of the year for me.

I'm not really bothered by it. I do think "Oh it's Friday 13th today, some people must be scared" but I don't make a huge thing out of it myself.

I'm not superstitious in the slightest, so I am not scared at all.

I am not in the least bit bothered! All superstition comes from pagans and the like same as Valentines day...

I lost my packaging research so I had to go to Tesco to buy more packaging, and I was running late. I was at the self checkouts, and then I paid with a £10 note and the penny machine jammed all the other banks, so I had to ask for help, and a total *beep* came over and I had to explain to him about 5 times that it ate my money and didn't give me any change. He went off and about 5 minutes later came back and gave me two copies of the same reciept and my change. When I got out I threw the contents of the box in the bin and just kept the packaging. With a day starting off like that I chose not to walk under any ladders, however a black cat crossed my path on the way home...

Just generally a random badish day for me today, probably nothing to do with it being Friday the 13th...

And there is going to be a Friday the 13th next month too, for all those people who hate it.
