When you go on holiday, do you prefer to go abroad or would you rather have a holiday somewhere in the UK? (or if you're not from the UK your home country).

I only started going abroad a couple of years ago, I always holidayed in the UK as a kid and loved it, I still do it now.

I Love The UK's Landscape and I'm Northern Irish. I Love The Height Of The Hills And The Trees that surrond it.

It's a lovely place to stay. It's a shame I arrived here on a Banana Boat.

I Love The... yes.

I prefer to holiday in the UK. There are some lovely places in the UK, my favourites are Devon / Cornwall and North Wales. North England is good too although I haven't been there much, and I suspect I may like Scotland a lot if I went there, but I've never been there.

Only ever been to France and Germany when abroad and have only ever had holidays in the UK through choice more than anything else.

That could be saying 7 nights in Center Parks, or an afternoon at a water theme park in Cyprus. I know what I'd choose, again...

Center Parks is awful. Try using a caravan in a farmer's field in the middle of nowhere... ;)

Nowadays I just go visit my family in France. I love the country, wine is so cheap and the weather is usually good.

But there are some superb places all over the UK to holiday. The downside is its usually a lot more expensive to holiday here and of course 2 weeks of rain in the UK can take the shine off things.

I've been rather fortunate to have gone on so many holidays abroad and in the UK, but I always prefer holidays abroad.

Shouldn't cost much. I mean, your holiday to Greece didn't...

Anyway, I prefer holidays abroad as I prefer good weather over scenery, and don't like to go around much, although when we go on holiday we normally take a day to visit somewhere (have taken trips to Nicosia, Knossos, St. John's and Ciutadella (?)).

My favourite holiday location is the Carribean, We've been there twice so far and we're going back later this year. (I'm not going to leave a cousin posting from my house... ;) )
