Will Game 69 turn out nice? PAUL gets to play it, and £595,000 is what he's playing it for! That much we know, but his rules of engagement are what we don't...

It's a regular board to start...

1p
10p
50p
£1
£5
£10
£50
£100
£250
£500
£750

£1,000
£3,000
£5,000
£10,000
£15,000
£20,000
£35,000
£50,000
£89,250
£148,750

£595,000

...but there will be some tweaks before you start! There are ten silver pots here with these ten sums: £3,000, £6,000, £9,000, £12,000, £15,000, £18,000, £24,000, £30,000, £36,000, £60,000. You will be picking one at a time to add to whichever boxes you like - the first one goes to one box, the second is split between two, the third between three, and the fourth between four. You must, in total, add money to five reds and five blues - the jackpot isn't red, you can't touch that, and you can't touch the 1p either.

Pick a number 1-10 for your first silver pot!

And that's £9,000! Which amount on the board do you want to add that to?

£9,001 on the board, and £36,000 in pot 3! You split that between two amounts, £18k each!

10p and 50p now have £18k in front of them! Two more blues can be topped up, five reds must be, and so at least one red must get a one-third share of... £6,000. So two grand for each!

Ooh ok.

Maintaining my outlook that a ‘stable’ board is half the battle on this game add it to the three lowest reds.

Then open 10 please

It's certainly become the conventional wisdom to think that! Those oranges are topped up... and it's £3,000 in the last silver pot. £750 each to add to two blues and two reds for a quirky look!

Things were batty at Lord's today and they're staying batty on the forum tonight!

Box 1 - £5,000, the one that was £3,000, as opposed to the original £5,000 which is now £7,000, or the new £3,000 which was £1,000. :ponder: It's not bad to lose anyway!

Box 3 - £18,000.50 might be bad to lose though... but not disastrous at all.

Box 5 - £100! THAT is what we like to see.

Box 11 - £760! Lovely.

Box 13 - £7,000! That would have been an incredible regular opening round, and it's not so bad in this mode either!

Not the board the Banker wanted to see at this stage.

1p
£18,000.10
£9,001
£755
£50
£250
£500
£750

£3,000
£10,750
£15,750
£20,000
£35,000
£50,000
£89,250
£148,750

£595,000

He was quite pleased you had a relatively modest set of pots, but then you took out four pot-boosted boxes and a blue whilst keeping the really big money intact!

BANKER'S OFFER

£14,000

Already into the teens at 17-box! Deal or No Deal?

Will we be saying that at the next call?

Box 15 - £20,000...

Box 17 - £750! Delightful, and we very well might be loving this board...

Box 19 - £15,750 is again not a Power 5! Encouraging indeed!

Two five-figure reds went but the Banker needed even more damage than that to feel at all comfortable there...

£500

£3,000
£10,750
£35,000
£50,000
£89,250

£595,000

...and look where we are at 14-box!

BANKER'S OFFER

£19,999

He couldn't bring himself to offering £20,000 just yet. ;) Deal or No Deal?
