Jacques' game was left unfinished but PURPLISER IS BACK EVERYONE!

It returns with the most experienced player of this format, AARON... who, as before, starts with these 24 boxes...

1p
10p
50p
£1
£5
£10
£25
£50
£100
£250
£500
£750

£1,000
£3,000
£5,000
£10,000
£15,000
£20,000
£35,000
£50,000
£75,000
£100,000
£150,000
£250,000

...and then watches a bunch of them change as the Dulux Purpliser comes in. Remember, you get to pair up the reds, blues, and greens you pick here. Five numbers 1-12 for each colour... LET'S DO THIS THING!

AND DO THIS THING WE SHALL! Boy it's good to be saying that...

Red: 2, 3, 4, 8, 9
Blue: 1, 2, 6, 11, 12
Green: 5, 7, 9, 10, 11

Here's what you're pairing up, then...

£20,000, £75,000, £250,000, £50,000, £5,000
£250, £100, £5, £25, 10p
45%, 5%, 35%, WILD, 15%

...well that's given you some decisions right out of the gate! Remember, the WILD has an influence of x% where x is an integer between 1 and 49 inclusive...

Interesting spread... I think I'm gonna go for a big money game, so will split all of that like so:

45% of £20,000 to 10p
WILD% of £75,000 to £25
5% of £250,000 to £250
35% of £50,000 to £5
15% of £5,000 to £100

Lots of ways to set that up, and here's the result of yours...

...with the WILD coming in at an intriguing 33%...

1p
£9,000.10
50p
£1
£17,505
£10
£24,775
£50
£850
£12,750
£500
£750

£1,000
£3,000
£4,250
£10,000
£15,000
£11,000
£35,000
£32,500
£50,250
£100,000
£150,000
£237,500

Keeping that jackpot high was the strategy, but you did add three five-figure amounts to the left side, which surely can't hurt your ability to chase said jackpot! You have Box 11 on the table and a five-box opening round to face... GAME ON!

And here we go...

Box 5 - £10,000. Not even a hint of what sort of game we'll get from that...

Box 19 - £17,505, the first of the bolstered blues also doesn't tell us that much...

Box 13 - £100,000! That tells us something. It tells us you're not going to have it easy at this rate.

Box 2 - £750, that helps...

Box 24 - £1, that definitely helps!

So that's left the board looking like this...

1p
£9,000.10
50p
£10
£24,775
£50
£850
£12,750
£500

£1,000
£3,000
£4,250
£15,000
£11,000
£35,000
£32,500
£50,250
£150,000
£237,500

Something for both sides in that round for sure, but how has the Banker reacted to it? First prediction always an important one...

Hmm, there's a lot going on in the £10k-£35k region. I'm not really expecting this to be (much) lower than £7k so let's say...

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£7,700

You certainly started the game with a ton of values in that area!

BANKER'S OFFER

£8,000

Just 3.75% out!

BOX 25 MONEY MENU
16%
66%
116%
166%
216%
316%

We'll see how that changes as the game progresses, but the foundations have well and truly been laid for a very nice configuration... at £8,000, Deal or No Deal?

Good start, and nice to get that zero up off the floor. Alas, it's a NO DEAL for now.

Let's take 3, 4 and 17 next please.

Should have said that there's two four-box rounds now, haha... but here's the first three of this one!

Box 3 - £11,000, another one out of the logjam...

Box 4 - £50,250! Well, if we can finish the round with two blues like the last one, that's a lot harder to object to...

Box 17 - £50, and that's one of them! This game is building into an interesting contest...

Box 12 - £32,500! This is destabilising, but your decision to protect the jackpot is looking quite effective right now...

1p
£9,000.10
50p
£10
£24,775
£850
£12,750
£500

£1,000
£3,000
£4,250
£15,000
£35,000
£150,000
£237,500

This could be an interesting offer. How much is the Banker worried about those top two, and how encouraged is he by the dwindling support for them? Prediction time...

Very strange... Average goes up a bit but there's less stability there, but of course the Banker needs to be somewhat unpredictable with an offer here because there hasn't been much overall change. I need to make a call...

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£8,700

... and that'll be it.

Tough call for both sides...

BANKER'S OFFER

£10,500

...and you could have done far worse than that! That's a 17% miss, and the great news is that's low enough to produce a positive cash addition even if it's a modest one...

BOX 23 MONEY MENU
16%
66%
116%
166%
216%
316%
+£3,000

Decent time for a miss of that margin too, you could say! At £10,500, with four more to open before the next call, Deal or No Deal?

In hindsight I should've anticipated a big swing away from the £8k, nonetheless I was less optimistic than what I've got there! I'm happy with this setup at the moment, so NO DEAL!

We'll go 6, 10, 15 and 18 this time please.

Where is this game going now?

Box 6 - £150,000! Youch, we've somehow got a one-box game... spoiler tags the rest of the way!

Box 10 -
£10, aptly enough! Much-needed.

Box 15 -
£15,000, the irony continues! So does the loss of the safety nets...

Box 18 -
£500! SAFE!

The Banker must have gone through a few emotions in that round...

1p
£9,000.10
50p
£24,775
£850
£12,750

£1,000
£3,000
£4,250
£35,000
£237,500

This could be a majestic money menu if you can get close to this offer. On this board, that's no small if...

Well if you've taken a big swing away from £10k this time, it's definitely not in the upwards direction... Another really difficult call here because again we're at a similar average... I'm putting that £9,000.10 in a 5% band at the top end, and I'm coming in with

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£8,551
