BANKER'S OFFER

£15,088

Set up so that a prediction of a stick would just miss the 10% band... but instead the prediction was a drop! The stability is having a serious influence even as it's been undermined a bit by that round... it's 23.8% out, enough to keep the 310% at least!

BOX 23 MONEY MENU
10%
60%
110%
160%
310%
+£20,000
ADD CAR

We've definitely seen far, far worse money menus than that one! At £15,088 with 23 optional on it... Deal or No Deal/

Note for future games: there is usually a HUGE leap in generosity between the 2nd and 3rd offers on this version.

With the stability, less than half the average is still a definite NO DEAL.

18, 16 and 14, please.

Box 18 - £22,505, the lowest of the Strategic Three...

Box 16 - £2,550, the lowest of the donor reds!

Box 14 - £100,000! And this game, in a gloriously upside-down manner, is now dependent upon two blues.

Good thing Hunter or Aaron isn't playing this, as I imagine this would be a £20k high board if they did. :P

It's a 50/50 board at the moment, but with only a 7% chance of producing a total one box game I shall NO DEAL and go with 12, 10 and 8 next.

Looking to at least have multiple good sums of money at the next call...

Box 12 - £250! And you will... but it's those two mega-blues, the products of your strategy from right out of the gate, which are where the power really lies. Keeping both would be huge.

Box 10 - £750! Another safe blue! Worst-case scenario leaves £60,001 with two five-figure backups...

Box 8 -
£20,000 but it's not the top of THIS game!

£125,000.50
£60,001
£10

£1,000
£15,000

The motto of this game, quite clearly, was to trust the process.

These offers reflect that motto.

Tricky one here. Only a 10% chance of total disaster, but a £15k high finish will be quite a drop from where I'm at now. 50/50 chance of higher final offer, but I'm probably not looking at much more than £35,000 unless I hit the 20% chance of a £15k or £60k/£125k finish. :ponder:

You know what, the only way to win the really big money in most games is to take a big against the odds risk like this, so NO DEAL and open 6, 2 and 9, please!

The whole game has been set up for bet-hedging. What could have been a crash turned instead into a board that produced a fixed offer in excess of £31,000, or a Box 23 equivalent that could have approached £75,000...

...but no. Here we are. Here. We. Are.

Box 6...
£15,000. Somehow, only appropriate that one went. Now, incredibly, we want to see the other red.

Box 2...
£60,001! It's two low numbers and the top prize, but like you've never seen it before...

Box 9...
£10! That flash of blue was frightening!! But we're there, with £1,000 and £125,000.50! The risk has been rewarded!

I have to agree with the Banker here, especially as I'd be looking at roughly £400 rather than £40,000 had it not been for the value equalizer.

Only question now is which offer I'll take. I had my eye on the £25k offer at 5 box as 4 out of 7 of the options would lead to a Super 6 (can't say power 5 on this version ;) ) level result and only 1 option would leave me very disappointed. The latter is still true here, but now there's also only a 1 in 7 chance of missing out on a huge amount more.

Therefore, DEAL the £46,021.76. :smt023

I would've swapped and chosen Option 5 for Box 23.

Done Deal! You trusted the process and ended up taking a stonking £46,021.76 from it!

The swap for 19... would have bought £1,000 to the table! You started the game with 50p and turned it into £125,000.50!!

The other offer would have left you this...

BOX 23 MONEY MENU
10% - £4,002.18
60% - £24,013.06
110% - £44,023.94
160% - £64,034.82
310% - £124,067.46
+£20,000 - £60,021.76
ADD CAR - £40,021.76 + Renault Zoe

And this would have happened.

There were 7 items in your list. Here they are in random order:

60% - £24,013.06
10% - £4,002.18
110% - £44,023.94
+£20,000 - £60,021.76
160% - £64,034.82
ADD CAR - £40,021.76 + Renault Zoe
310% - £124,067.46

IP: 86.15.173.210
Timestamp: 2017-06-26 02:07:21 UTC

Would have been P5 territory at 5-box, but still less than what you actually won!

I'm not at all disappointed with that, hence why I swerved away from the Box 23 offer. :) :smt023
